  1. Buy them a coffee fundraiser for King?s staff is now active again. https://www.gofundme.com/f/buy-them-a-coffee-kch
  2. This is a really informative website, which put the situation and the attendant disproportionate panic into perspective for me. Obviously, there will be many more cases but as of today, the UK has 3.1 cases per 1 million people. I hope anyone feeling particularly anxious might find it helpful. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/
  3. I?d also like to recommend Back To Wood. They did such a beautiful job on our stairs and hallway and totally exceeded my expectations. Steve and Nicola are extremely professional and responsive, I felt they really made an effort to make sure I was happy with the colour and finish. And I am!
  4. Thanks shelly2106. Unfortunately, to pay the fee online I need to know the cost. That?s on the ?Fee to pay? card which they did not deliver!
  5. I?ve been waiting over 3 weeks for a parcel to arrive. According to the track and trace on the RM website, the parcel is now being held at East Dulwich delivery office and a card telling me I have a fee to pay was left at my address this morning. Except they didn?t actually deliver the card so I have no reference number for the fee and there are notices everywhere at Peckham delivery office (where I assume my parcel actually is) saying ?no card, no parcel?. How do I pay the fee and collect my parcel without the card they haven?t delivered? Has anyone had any success with collecting a parcel with just their tracking number, name and address and ID?
  6. Hi, I recommend Lee Garvey- he has done work for me several times and most recently he replaced the boiler in the kitchen and some radiators. He is thoroughly professional- punctual, tidy and very efficient. He is also great for talking through various options to help you find the best solution. His number- 07881 277385
  7. I've just posted a recommendation for No Flies, with whom we bought and sold- they were great. Extremely professional and made the whole process as painless as possible. Ditto shoshntosh on KFH, just awful, incapable of turning up on time for viewings, never returned calls about properties I was interested in but bombarded me with calls from other offices located all over London, especially trying to sell new builds.
  8. Jumping onto this thread to give another recommendation for Julie Johnson and her colleagues at Springtide Capital. She was absolutely excellent and really thorough.
  9. We simultaneously bought and sold with No Flies and I really can't recommend them enough. From start to finish of the (unexpectedly long and complicated) process Brendan and Tony were professional, courteous and responsive. They were always available to deal with issues as they arose and were a pleasure to deal with. As they're local, they know the area really well and came armed with realistic info about sales in the area. We were very happy with the price achieved for both sale and purchase and saved thousands in commission as they only charge a flat fee. I dealt with many different estate agents over the course of a few months and they really stood out in many ways, I'm very glad we chose them!

  11. Hook and Sons sell their raw milk and other dairy products at Brockley Market on Saturdays too.
  12. It is now. http://www.change.org/p/nicky-morgan-protect-our-children-s-health-and-wellbeing-stop-new-schools-being-created-without-any-outdoor-space-for-children-to-play-and-learn
  13. Does anyone know the last distance offered for open places for St John's this year? Despite repeated requests for this information and to find out our distance as measured by the school I've had no luck so far.
