I wanted to add that my other half had similar symptopms a few years back. He had a CT scan etc and nothing there - we thought maybe BPPV and tried dix-hallpike. In the end the doctors could only assume he'd had a virus which had affected his inner ear and that he'd be back to normal within a month. However it was 6-9 weeks until he made a complete recovery - so if they rule everything out, don't expect a recovery timeframe to be precise, don't panic if it passes and you're still not better, it took him twice as long. How old were they? I saw a group of three teens cruising around there looking suspicious in the afternoon a couple of months back. I couldn't describe them any more as was a while back and at the time wondered if reporting to 101 would be overreacting. They just looked as if not normal relaxed/dawdling teens but they were up to something if that makes sense.

Greg has recently done all my skirting boards, dado rail, architrave and hung new doors or fixed old ones in the top floor of my house. All done to a really high standard and would recommend, he has a real eye for detail and is straightforward to deal with. He's coming back soon to do the ground floor - a longer list so I will update then.

Another recommendation for Des. He has just finished painting the outside of our house to a very high standard. He is reliable and trustworthy and a real perfectionist. He always left the area he was working in tidy and gave good advice on materials and solutions. We will definitely be asking him back next year when there is more work to be done on the inside.
