Three were still in one piece on March 1st.

I nearly got run over on a narrow path (that runs towards Strakers Road) on Peckham Rye on Wednesday evening. I'd estimate there were in the region of 60-80. I think the lack of lighting and my dark attire may have contributed. Being a runner I was more in admiration than consternation but I can appreciate how it may seem a little intimidating. They do talk in raised voices (naturally) as they chat on their excursion but sadly the only words that the passerby catches is the expletive that seems to be a universal adjective these days .

Vanishing view from Nunhead Cemetery ?

The Southern website says they've had the topping off ceremony on August 22nd for the 6th floor. Completion due 2025. https://www.southernhousing.org.uk/latest-news/2023/milestone-at-our-southwark-development Although the HG website has a picture of a building with 11 levels. https://www.hgconstruction.co.uk/new-scheme-at-glengall-road/ -
You will have to pay up I'm afraid. I ran foul of the Old Kent Road one when doing a particularly large shop but was able to provide receipts to the charging company from Lidl and they waived it. I fear if you haven't been using Lidl you will struggle to find any mitigating circumstances.

This poster is attached to the fencing. It looks like only the resurfacing is required to finish the project. -
Balfe Bikes appalling reviews on Trust Pilot
peckhambog posted a topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I was very unhappy with the complete lack of service or quality Balfe Bikes delivered and so wrote a review on Trust Pilot explaining the serious issues. After I had submitted it, I was surprised to see that others likewise had been let down and left negative reviews. I understand most satisfied won't be bothered to leave a complimentary review, but am interested to know if the problems in their workshop and workmanship are common or a more exception? -
Went through at 12:20. Pedestrian traffic is not easy to negotiate through. I found picking my bike up off the ground, rather than wheeling it at pinch points, made it easier.

Dawson Heights has been featured on Storror?s YouTube channel. The local police get a big thumbs up too, which is a nice touch. I can?t place the second location they visit.

That the noise levels to be maintained in accordance with the Noise Policy within the maximum expected to be between 67 and 73 decibels without exceeding 75 decibels at any time at local residential properties. All readings to be available for inspection by London Borough of Southwark officers and the Metropolitan Police.

Attempted scooter theft @ 05:30am
peckhambog replied to eyebrowcrisis's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
At 16:50 today a black scooter hazarded its way north up Peckham Rye with two young people on board, maybe 15/16 years old. Scooter has a white 'foreign' number plate on the rear with vehicle index M83 2820. Went through a red light past an on coming bus and continued up towards Copeland Road. Both had dark helmets and balaclavas on underneath though I could see the driver was IC1 and the pillion IC3. Though the driver was in all black, the pillion had light grey top and bottom type of track suit. -
response to enquiry re Rye Lane Cycling
peckhambog replied to Renata Hamvas's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I have a lot of trouble with cyclists travelling northbound not using the empty bus lane but migrating automatically onto the southbound cycle path and expecting the southbound traffic to go into the pedestrian area.
