  1. If you travel from Victoria to Peckham Rye via Clapham Junction you don't need to touch in or out at Clapham Junction - in fact don't do it as your likely to end up with an 'incomplete journey'and be charged a maximum fare. Blackfriars is gated anyway.
  2. And still buy them from Denmark Hill / Peckham Rye to London Terminals - it is only season tickets internal to the section of route between Wandsworth Road and Queens Road Peckham that are affected.
  3. New on the London TravelWatch website is this frequently asked questions regarding South London Line / East London Line extension. http://www.londontravelwatch.org.uk/news/2012/11/passenger_watchdog_launches_webpages_which_deal_with_frequently_asked_questions_about_the_withdrawal
  4. Pity not after 9th December, as could use the Feltham route to Clapham Junction then London Overground to Denmark Hill.
  5. You forget also that at Shadwell the DLR takes you into Tower Gateway as well - great if you work around Fenchurch Street, and also direct to London City Airport. Clapham Junction also has Southern going up to Wembley Central, Watford Junction and Milton Keynes.
  6. The train timetable for all trains covering the Tulse Hill - North Dulwich - East Dulwich - Peckham Rye - London Bridge is being completely revised from 9th December 2012. So you might want to check what your journey will be after then. At peak times it looks like East Dulwich to London Bridge will be every 10 minutes; 0800, 0810, 0821, 0830, 0840 and 0851. This looks like better than the current one. London TravelWatch's website by the way is www.londontravelwatch.org.uk
  7. There are 3 trains per day Monday to Saturday and 2 on Sundays from Clapham Junction to Bath. Takes 2hours 20minutes but is much cheaper than going via Paddington if you ask for a 'via Salisbury' ticket. Even cheaper if you have a Goldcard or Network Card if you split your tickets and buy Denmark Hill - Salisbury, and Salisbury - Bath. Alternatively if you don't mind also changing at Salisbury the SWT trains run hourly Clapham Junction to Salisbury, with FGW connecting hourly Salisbury to Bath. The ELL extension to Clapham Junction makes it a lot easier to get from Peckham Rye and Denmark Hill to all sorts of exotic destinations ... Exeter, Southampton, Portsmouth, Reading, Milton Keynes, Watford etc.
