Goodrich is every alternate Wednesday (website is out of date) from 9.30am and you have to book. There was one last week so the next one will be 28th. Heber has one on 28 Sept at 2pm - no need to book and Harris first one is 28 Sept at 9.30am and then monthly - all of theirs are on the website calendar.

Ok 24 July is the best date for all so put it in the diary! Any other kiwi families who want to join in and are free on that date are more than welcome.

Hi, I'm a kiwi in ED. When I first moved to the area a few years ago there was a forum thread about Kiwi families meeting up. I never went along (as was pregnant with my first at the time) so am not sure if anything came of this. I'm sure someone will be along soon who might know more about this. Either way I'm happy to meet up as I want my kids to be in touch with their kiwi side too!

I need a cleaner for about two and a half hours each week - preferably on a Tuesday or Friday if possible. I don't need someone to tidy for me, that will be done beforehand, but someone who will clean thoroughly each week and is reliable and trustworthy. Recommendations preferred. Thanks

The plan is what SimonetheBeaver has outlined apparently. Oakwood will be the only ones to stay in SE22 and the others will cover different areas of the boroughs that serve Kings. So it will be more hospital based care unless you get referred to one of the community case load teams. Not sure when it will take place though.

Hi all, The Summer babies are coming thick and fast at the moment (my own included!) so sorry if I haven't got around to answering PMs or adding people to the Facebook group - everything is one handed at the moment!We have been very active and during the last six moths have met regularly. Next one is a picnic tomorrow at the Horniman, 12.30pm at the band stand. For bumps, babies and toddlers. xx

We are coming to the end of our building works and I am looking for a cleaner(s) to come in and give the whole house a deep clean before we put our furniture back in place. I would imagine it would take a whole day to do. Any suggestions or contacts?

Upstiars at Le Chandelier is lovely and spacious or try the Herne Tavern as they have a building out the back too - not sure on self catering tho. xx

Hi, I am expecting number 2 at the end of June when my daughter will be 2.5. It was lovely to meet so many Mums to be at the meet up organised by KJ&Bump. I can't make the 21st but look forward to seeing everyone and any new faces at the next one! Evenings and weekends are good or I'm around on Fridays as well (toddler in tow) if anyone else is and wants to grab a coffee. x

I asked and apparently the french cafe is staying where it is but the owner does have the keys for the blue/yellow place and will be opening up something come spring time!

As a mum to a toddler I think it is great news that The Gardens is going to used and that it will cater for the fast growing ED population of parents with children. I find it the most unrelaxing thing to go to a cafe with an active toddler as I am so concerned not to disrupt anyone around us so welcome somewhere that I can get a decent coffee, meet friends and let the little one burn off some energy without this worry. I do wish however that the people of ED would not always parent/child bash on the forum. We are all at different stages of life with different priorities and it would be nice if we can co-exist pleasantly.

I too have been following this thread with interest as at one point had considered Oak Tree to send our child to. I would be horrified if this happened or could potentially happen to my child. In some respects I agree with Convex in that parents with children there can make their own judgement on how they feel about remaining with the nursery and allowing them the opportunity to rectify what was a serious security breach. Sadly though I agree with Ryedalema in that once the media picks up on this story and people choose to tell it, the nursery will probably not survive and the children will have their little worlds pulled upside down.
