  1. Chislehurst caves are great...not sure it's a whole day out though, more an afternoon thing. As far as I remember you go into London bridge, then train out (maybe 20 mins) and caves are two mins walk from station. I went with kids younger than yours about three years ago and they still talk about it!!! http://www.chislehurst-caves.co.uk/
  2. The hamlet (I think) gives you a form to fill in, where your child can choose the friends they'd like to have in their class, so if anyone else is moving up, that can help..though obviously isn't guaranteed. They mix up all the new children coming in, so it's unlikely that your child will be the only one in the class that wasn't in the same infants class the year before.
  3. I've never been to the Easter celebrations, but have been so many times over the years with various age children and its always worth a visit. Most people don't even seem to know about the nature rail at the bottom of the garden.....our the craft activities during holiday times.... I always think we are so lucky to have it on our doorstep.
  4. cant go wrong with Roald Dahl I say (not sure I spelt it right though). For younger ones The magic finger, the twits and fantastic Mr Fox, but charlie and chocolate factory and matilda are good ones too.
