  1. Could anyone advise, please? I have heard people say that Huggies aren't as good as Pampers, especially for a girl. Any tips, pointers or opinions would be greatly received. Thanks.
  2. I sadly can't answer this question however, I'd be interested to follow the thread and see if you obtain any replies. x
  3. Looks like the post above yours may be able to help you out.......!
  4. Congrats to my sister in law who's just had a baby boy. Now for the pressie .... She's asked for a sheepskin liner for her newborn Maxi Cosi (pebble?? I, sure she used the word Pebble!) car seat. There seem to be a ton of sheepskins out there but I have no idea what fits what and , as someone who's a bit of a perfectionist, I don't want one that "sort of" fits...would really like one that I know will do the job! Has anyone got any experience of this and therefore some advice and helpful pointers? Thanks tons! X
  5. Just means a shed load of family politics, another year of convincing the inlaws to NOT spend a fortune on presents that are never used, breaking the news to my folks that it's my turn to be with my hubbie and his lot rather than the other way round, wtf to buy an 11 year old and ........agh, no, definately not excited for Xmas!!!! Won't say no to a mince pie, though......
  6. Specifically looking for these tights. 3-6 months for the baby model. Need to be in good condition. But 0-3 would be accepted too. Anyone have them per chance? If you have the dress too, we would be interested as we may need two models on the shoot. Thank you. Please PM me if you have them and I'll get back to you asap. :-)
  7. I love the softness of their products, especially the bamboo items. But they are completely out of my budget. A) miraculously, no one has any that they're selling on do they? B) can anyone recommend equally soft but cheaper brands? Anyone know any fantastic soft organic clothing for bubs? Thank you for your help, X
  8. Any EDF Mums out there have positive and successful stories about a premie birth? My best, best and closest friend has just had her twin girls at 28 wks and I'm losing sleep over it. I wouldn't dream of saying anything to her but I had the fright of my life when I saw them and how teeny tiny they are. The hospital seem confident that all they need to do is grow but......will they be ok? Learning difficulties? Will they be behind? Will they grow well? All these questions that I have. I am in the very early stages of a pregnancy too so I suppose the fears I have for my bestie are also heightened because of my own fears too. I would love to hear back from mums and dads who have come through an early labour. Mrs EatLessBread
  9. I know I read somewhere about how to get rid of the yellowy stains on clothing that has been packed away but I can't remember where or how. We got some hand-me-downs of newborn babygro's from a friend of mine and some of them have yellowish stains on them, around the neckline. Anyone know how to get rid of them? Any tips? Thank you !!
  10. Hi there, I have a question for any buggy experts out there. We have the Baby Jogger City ELITE; http://www.babyjogger.co.uk/cityelite.php I am looking for a footmuff for this buggy. A friend of mine has the Baby Jogger City MINI and has said how disappointed he is by the frustrating Baby Jogger footmuff because it always slips down the back part of the buggy and can't ever stay in place. As I know nothing about buggies and I am in the very early days of it all, I was wondering if any EDF Mummies or Daddies use a B.J.C Elite and if you have a non Baby Jogger footmuff? Can I just pick any make? I went up to John Lewis the other day but the assistant wasn't at all helpful. There were some lovely footmuffs there but I had no idea if they'd fit. Thank you for your help and apologies for such a dull posting! Eat Less Bread x
  11. we have a 16 footer. I would recommend as large as you can fit; I can promise you that you will never be sorry. Best investment you will ever, ever make, no matter how much room it takes up. I'm 35 and I LOVE going on it....still. ELB x
  12. would love to join too. 1st time mum. Riddled with morning sickness from 9am - 10pm and can't seem to ind this pregnancy glow. I am a divine lighter shade of pale grey! Moved to the area very recently (well SE20), know no-one, feel rather lonely and would absolutely love to meet some like-minded, similar-situ people. Please may I join? E.L.B x
  13. Father to 7 year old twin boys, keen to get them into a good football class. Already been to a class that was a bit useless - looking for something stronger. Live in SE22 but would be prepared to travel for the right class be that E.D, Crystal Palace, Forest Hill, Sydenham, etc. Does anyone have any recommendations? Ta
