I do find that irritating when they only sell Christmas turkeys to regular customers; I would have popped in there to see what they were like, but I cannot afford to become a butcher's "regular" customer so probably won't bother now and look elsewhere. Thanks for all of your help; it has been greatly appreciated.

I think as long as it was good value and good food it would be a great hit; I for one would visit regularly! Some Japanese / Sushi places in London are ridiculously expensive and for mediocre food. Perhaps a trial stall at the market off Lordship Lane on Saturday morning would give you an idea of how popular it would be?

Does anyone know anyone who can make masks? I am off to a Scottish wedding and the theme is masquerede mask (different I know); I am a part of the bridal party and they have a tarten design and it would be great if my mask was made out of the tarten. Suggestions greatly appreciated.

Peckham Rye station closed this morning

Perhaps now they will redevelop it! -
I also go via Greenwich and make it in good time.

The lack of direct trains to Peckham Rye in the evenings is infuriating! I know this may sound silly, but I don't go out in Victoria half as much as I used to because I end up having to travel to Blackfriars.

Can anyone recommend a place to get a ladies haircut in East Dulwich? Preferably along Lorship Lane. Not stupidly expensive, all that needs to be done is a trim and side fringe so am not prepared to spend too much money!! Thanks in advance

these are absolutely brilliant.

I think the Gardens Surgery must be the best of a bad bunch; they are never on time (the shortest time waiting was 10 minutes and the longest time I have been waiting was 45 mins). Dr Addo is very good, the others are questionable. There is a dentist near the Gardens Surgery and they are on the NHS.

I agree with whoever suggested 'The Goose Green'. 'Nosh' reminds me of the restaurant Il Nosh from the TV show Hollyoaks when I used to watch it.

Very good suggestion!!

I am looking for quotes from builders in the East Dulwich area on two jobs: 1) Two metre by one metre concrete foundation for outside shed; 2) Converting a downstairs WC into a shower / wet room. Please call Oliver on 07808 120054 to provide quote. Thanks
