Another recommendation here for Jason. He came to plaster over a section of ceiling that we had to remove in order to investigate a leak. He is a really lovely guy, easy to get in touch with and great communication. He was quick, tidy and competitively priced. Very happy and I'd have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone.

I have used Saied several times over the years and decided to get him back to tidy the garden and plant some new things for summer. As ever, he has done an amazing job and selected some of the most beautiful flowers for me. These have been planted with other things cut back and some maintenance to my suffering lawn and the garden is transformed. He also replanted some new flowers in my window boxes at the front of the house. I'm delighted with the results and would recommend Saied to anyone without hesitation.

Another recommendation for Julian. He built a bookcase and some floating shelves for me last year and they look brilliant. Solidly made and he managed to get everything done in one day. He arrived on time and was a pleasure to deal with. He was clean and tidy and fairly priced too compared to some other quotes I received. I'd definitely use him again.

I thoroughly recommend Ray. I had him redecorate most of my house last summer (2 receptions, bedroom and hallway). I was working from home the whole time and he was a joy to have around. Very personable, great with my two cats who adored him and always on time. He carried out painting and wallpapering, was extremely tidy and has done an excellent job. The house looks transformed. His quote was accurate and good value. He has some availability coming up so definitely book him in while you can ? I know he gets very busy. I?ll definitely use him again.

I just wanted to add my recommendation for Russell. He recently managed to solve a problem on my roof that two other roofers were unable to (one of whom had done work that Russell said was completely unnecessary and made the problem worse). I found him to be honest and reliable and incredibly reasonably priced. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone and he will definitely be my go to person from now on should I have any other roof issues.

Another recommendation here for Jack Hart Plastering. I had Jack and his team recently complete some damp proofing, replastering and installing a french drain. They worked really hard and managed to get the job done in less time than I had thought it would take. There were friendly, approachable and extremely tidy. Their quote was competitive and honest - other quotes I had suggested work that was completely unnecessary. I would have no hesitation in using Jack's services again and wholeheartedly recommend him.

I recently had an independent damp survey done on my property. One of the things that was recommended to me was to have all the paint stripped off the front of my house. After so many layers of paint over the years, the building was unable to breathe, water was trapped and so coming inwards and it was hard to see where areas of repointing needed to be done. After looking on the forum for sandblasting (and similar) recommendations and finding there weren't too many and the ones that were mentioned were horribly expensive, I came across ACRA Exterior Cleaning. Cosmin and Alex are great guys. They first came over to do a free patch test to check I was happy with the finish. They then carried out the job a few days later. They worked so hard (12 hours straight the first day) and were an absolute pleasure to deal with. I found them friendly and approachable at all times, excellent value and managed to do what was a very tough job - 20 layers of paint in some areas - in two days. They can organise scaffolding for you too (although I organised my own). I'm really pleased with their work and would whole-heartedly recommend them. We?ve just had Saied back to our garden to put everything to bed for winter. As well as cutting everything back and tidying everything up, he has added some winter flowers and bulbs and fed the lawn and soil. Once again, he has done a wonderful job and we have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending him.

We had Saied come back after the wonderful job he did on our garden over the Summer just to put the garden to bed for the winter. As always, he was brilliant and has done a wonderful job. We will have him back in the New Year when needed I have no doubt!

We have Saied working on our garden at the moment and he is truly fantastic. We actually used him a few years ago when we first brought the house and had no hesitation in getting him back. We needed quite a lot of work doing this time as we've neglected the garden terribly over the last couple of years. He has been working so hard quickly clearing the plants, taking down trees and refitting rotten sleepers for flower beds. It's already looking brilliant and he hasn't started planting yet! He is so friendly and gives great advice about what to plant and where. You can tell he is really passionate and enjoys what he does. I can't wait for it to all be finished so it's a space we can start to enjoy again. I recommend whole-heartedly!

Another recommendation for David and the team here. We had some issues with guttering and repointing at the rear of our property that some builders hadn't finished properly after an extension. David managed to get all the work done in a day, was punctual and provided before and after pictures. The quote was very competitive and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone. They even fixed our front gate that had come off it's hinges at no extra charge! Lovely guys - thanks again for all your work.

I'd love to recommend Martin Fregis from On This Fitness for anyone thinking about getting a personal trainer. I have tried pretty much everything to keep fit over the years - gym, classes, swimming, yoga, wii fit, running - but I always come up against the same problem: I get bored and soon lose my motivation to keep going. I've been seeing Martin since November last year and I think he is a brilliant teacher. He comes to my house which is great as I don't have to spend time getting to the gym or park and can hit the shower straight after he has gone. He has improved my technique on several exercises I've been doing incorrectly in the past so I know I am getting the best out of every exercise we do. Apparently my push ups are perfect now - something I never thought possible! We've been using weights and TRX too which are tough but keep things challenging and I can really see the difference - I'm definitely much stronger and can do complicated exercises now I would never have been able to do when we started. He listens to you if you want to target certain areas, keeps sessions varied and effective in the space available at my home, and encourages me to push myself. It's hard work but after training 3 times a week since November without fail (something I have not managed to maintain since my early 20s), I am feeling fitter and healthier. My body shape has changed hugely and combined with dieting, I have lost about two and a half stone. So many people have commented how different I look and I can't quite believe I am one of those people that actually exercises regularly and enjoys it - I never thought I would be. I would definitely recommend him as a personal trainer and would encourage anyone who wants to get fit once and for all to give him a call.
