  4. So, with a toddler and another one due in seven weeks I'm thinking of investing. Worth it? If so, which one? How big? Will we forever eat spag Bol and stew? Thanks in advance for advice!
  5. Camberwell arms? Not sure re veg options though...
  6. Cool...watch this space.... Thanks A
  7. Thanks KK. Can I make them do that? Is it an easy job? Costly? I've no idea...just trying to pre-empt the winter season when I will all being well have a newborn in the room with me who I don't want to be inhaling the fumes!
  8. On a similar ish point, we live on top two floors of four storey house. Downstairs flat have open fire used in the winter. Smoke smell comes through the vent in our main bedroom... We have no open fire. What to do? Thanks A
  9. Thanks Sonners I remembered another thread on here and found hays galleria near London Bridge in the end...cafe rouge...running room, fountain, Thames and HMS Belfast...all things to fascinate a toddler. All good.
  10. Hi All Hopefully you can help me...any suggestions gratefully received for dinner later today... Thanks A
  11. My son started at nursery in mid Feb three days a week. At the start I was lucky if he slept for 5-20 minutes after lunch. Sometimes he just 'rested'! Now, he'll sleep between 40-60 minutes there. Not enough but it gets him through and he makes up for it by sleeping longer during the day on the four days a week I have him. Don't worry!
  12. Thanks for all your help everyone. Maybe I will buy one of each and scatter them around the house!
  13. Really helpful. Thanks Bonfire. And another question. He is nearly 18 months. Saying poo poo, then squatting in his nappy and doing a poo. I think he might be doing the same for wee. I think definitely time to introduce the potty to him but too early to attempt training proper? x
  14. I'm sure this subject has been covered in depth so apologies in advance. Title explains it all. I also remember reading somewhere on EDF about a potette for out and about? I'd quite like a potty 'seat' to put on the main loo. Are these good? Do they work? Are they instead of a potty? Thanks in advance A
  15. What's the easiest/quickest way from Camberwell please? Thanks
  16. 15mth old too young to get anything from it?
  17. So pleased you started this thread. I'm three weeks into return to work with 14mth old son at nursery for three days and with a CM for one day. I miss him so much and I have Fridays with him. I'm wracked with guilt at leaving him even though it's what I want and I know it's a good example for him in the future. I've searched for stuff to make me feel better but I suppose that will take time...My feelings are a minefield at the moment. I've been pondering a cleaner for a few weeks now. Think after reading all your comments I will get one. Precious moments at weekends should not be spent scrubbing kitchens and bathrooms....
  18. Forgive the thread but your mailbox is full... Thought the lounge best place to attract you! Still interested in the scuttlebug...
  19. Same thing happened in Camberwell this evening at around 8pm. Tall bloke, car parked on double reds (none in vicinity) and just towed. Had just moved in next door apparently but wife missing as they were decorating...could he have some money please... No.
  20. I am so in need of this. Thank you so much... A

  22. Right Here is my tuppence worth. I have no experience of either Melissa or the sale I went especially on Sunday after seeing the ad too This was after an exchange in which Melissa had responded v promptly saying she would reserve things for me. However, then communication dried up. My PMs to Melissa were not read. I think this might be due to what I found out at the sale: I went to the sale anyway in the hope that she might be there. I was the second person there and asked the organiser which table she was on. Organiser told me that Mel and her friend who share a stall were both ill and that they couldn't make it. Said she was a regular seller with great things normally. I find the 'gone' message odd but I don't think Peekaboo need a stunt for advertising.
