  1. I messaged Gerry to see if he was available to look at a shower pump that was faulty. Called me within a few hours and booked me in. He arrived on time, replaced the pump and sorted out a few other issues. Very polite, tidy and charged a reasonable price. Gerry will be my go to plumber and would I be be happy to recommend him.
  2. Damien came over last night to sort out a few niggling problems that I had lived with for years. Nice guy, punctual, kept me updated and very reasonable price. He also is happy to work evenings and weekends. Would highly recommend
  3. Another thumbs up. Fixed my leaking toilet and other various jobs that needed doing. I have recommended him to a few people who have all been over the moon with his work. Hew turns up on time, is happy to do evening visits, deals with emergencies and is always polite and helpful and you never feel he?s fobbing you off and a nice bloke to top it all off
  4. H4 - how did you get on? Any luck finding anyone? I'm in the same boat. The management of the flats is currently run by me and I'm finding it hard to find the time to fit it all in. Sometimes it feels like a full time job. If anyone could recommend a company I would appreciate it
  5. Great! I'm up for Saturday or evenings
  6. ?The Blue? is the market area in Bermondsey on Blue Anchor Lane. I only learnt that yesterday so over the moon to be using my new found trivia so soon
  7. I would love to work with/for some of you guys. We haven?t has a Christmas party for 3 years now. In my younger days we had some very lavish nights all on the company
  8. Seconded. Aaron carried out some work for me. Fantastic job, nice guy, good rates and very tidy. Another plasterer even commented on what a good job he did.
  9. Hi Seema, Could I have your price list as well. Thank you
  10. 4th for Carly. Lovely lady and does a great job on my mop

What I do have a problem with is Dads thinking it?s ok to take their kids into the ladies loos. Anyway, I will give it another go this weekend but will try in the evening when it should be more grown up
  12. I went in yesterday with the intention of spending the afternoon getting sloshed with friends and eating my body weight in BBQ meat. First impressions ? it looked like a fu***ing cr?che. Soooooo many kids. I didn?t see the nappy changing incident but I visited the loo and thought I was in the wrong place as 2 dads were taking their little girls into the ladies loo. I did confront them but the parents sense of entitlement set in and I was firmly told to mind my own business. I left shortly after that, only 1 beer inside me and starving! Such a shame that nowhere in ED (as far as I know) does good food and is a nice place to be without it turning into playgroup on a Sunday.
  13. I second Aarron. Fantastic job

Perhaps some of the > victims can fill us in? Or the reports have not got through to the Duty Manager. If I was reporting a crime, I would talk to security in the store. You would assume that all reports of crime in around the store would be reported up the line but you would also assume that the duty manager has spoken to security. I don?t believe that the crimes have not been reported. Did every member of staff completely miss the police presence last weekend outside the store? The e-mail sounds like a complete ?not my problem? cop out
  15. Jenny Eclair tweeted yesterday that she had been distracted at a Sainsburys cash point and her card stolen. She didn?t say what Sainsburys it was though, although I suspect it was the Dulwich one as she retweeted someone who had a similar thing happen at the DKH branch. ?just fallen foul of oldest ATM heist, guy distracts me, i tell him to get lost, he nicks my card, i think machine has swallowed it, .... waste time telling supermarket, -10 min later get through to bank, cancel card, he's already used it twice at machine ten min down rd. grrrrrrrrrrrrr- I knew he was up to something, he told me the machine had swallowed his card the day before, the lying shit- feel v cross?
  16. Well done. I'm not sure I would have been so brave. Dbboy - any more info on the Netherby Road robbery?
  17. Another recommendation for Dulwich Plumbing and Heating. They came to my flat to carry out some non emergency repairs. They were happy to work around me and my times and were prompt on the day. They arrived with all the correct parts and fixed my list of issues within an hour and a half and I am very pleased with the results. They were polite, tidy and took the rubbish with them. The overall price was reasonable too. Would be happy to use them again.
