  1. I hope the police were advised, and it'd be good to have a description of the offenders. Remember you've every right to self-defence provided you're not being unreasonable and unlawful. Sometimes you have an advantage and if so I'd make the first move if possible. "People" like this generally aren't used to their targets fighting back. Hope your brother's alright.
  2. Actor Ian Holm has died. He was great.
  3. If it goes on anymore I'd knock on the door and find out what's going on - or contact designated team at least.
  4. Now that this simple mask rule has finally been put in place I've kept an eye on adherence Where I'm sitting today so far I have seen thousands (no joke - actually thousands) of people on passing buses with no masks on. Either they're getting on buses without masks or they're taking them off after embarking. This is dumb. Makes me wonder about hand sanitizer as well. Please remind those that you know who use public transport to mask-up for the time being. Cheers.
  5. Quantity
  6. We had a round on circumcision, which wasn't child-friendly but at least it was funny for most of us.

I still can't believe that this was ever allowed to happen. Even if the outcome ultimately strengthens the Eurozone both the imbalance and the scale of debt is very alarming - skip back to last year: https://www.bloomberg.com/graphics/2019-italian-banks/

  9. Not so much anti-Trump or anti-meat but more about good taste for better food. I think this is a good idea: https://secure.greenpeace.org.uk/page/s/ProtectUKfoodstandards

What you've said is actually positive J&B, not negative. It's about stating the truth. We're now in a situation in which the history and culture are being compromised - statues down, film and TV materials being removed, will it be book burnings next? None of this will help black people... none of this will help anyone.
  11. Just been discussing this issue with colleagues indoors. The 2m rule is hard enough for adults let alone children. If it's reduced then it's really from 2m to zero. The risk only begins to decline at 2m+ so reducing may as well mean not having it at all. 1m, 1.5m or even 1.75m aren't effective. None of this really worries me but I wholly respect and will support others' means of protecting themselves. We'll probably ride it out through summer without too many virus worries and then see what happens in winter when more people start sneezing again... with their lovely coughs, colds and SARS-CoV-2.
