FYI Cherry Tree not child friendly (after 7.30pm)

I actually agree with no children in pubs after a certain time, but the point here is that we were in the restaurant section (not the bar) which is quite separate. -

To be clear - we were told it's no children after 7pm.Including in the restaurant part. -
Just as an FYI The Cherry Tree is no longer a child friendly pub. My sleeping baby was recently kicked out of the restaurant. I understand not wanting toddlers running around the bar, but if the restaurant is to survive, especially in this area, I think well behaved children should be allowed in the restaurant if parents are having a meal and they aren?t disturbing other guests. As a side, the food isn?t good enough to get a babysitter for, so we probably will never return. Good luck!

I'm very confused about what's going on. I live in East Dulwich and was just given a surgery in Brockwell Park, which isn't exactly the easiest place to get to. Anyone have suggestions? Thanks.

Love the new layout of the pub. Not impressed with the food. Had the lunch deal on Friday. Never thought I would feel ripped off over ?6.95. That day it was tagliatelle (about 15 strands), tomato sauce and I suppose to make it look fancy a couple dollops of olive tapenade. Dessert was two scoops of ice cream. Gave them a second try this week. Had the burger. I don't think the meat was fresh and tasted cheap. Please, please, I want to love this pub for the decor and food. I want to support it, but not sure I'll give it another try for a couple weeks.

There's too much about the past on this forum. Let's talk about now and what's to come. It's really exciting around here. -

Hello. I'm working on a small project for a local organisation - DIY videos for their YouTube channel. These are very short two minute videos doing stuff like how to fit a fluorescent light, unblock a kitchen sink - that sort of stuff. Please DM if you know of someone who would be interested. Thanks so much.

I'd be interested too - I'm more journalism/short story than poetry, though. Work from home too, so would be nice to meet locally and swap ideas/contacts.

I vote a decent gym too. I'm fed up with Fusion! Too hot, rude staff, dirty, overcrowded ...

My normal cat sitter is away, and wondering if anyone can recommend a cattery or cat sitter in East Dulwich for a very spoiled indoor cat. Thanks so much.

Can anyone recommend a Dermatologist in the area? Thanks!

Grand Opening of THE FLYING PIG, Goose Green,
eliz01 replied to The Flying Pig's topic in Request a Tradesperson
I've been twice and won't be going back anytime soon. I?ve had the wings, nachos, ribs and soft shell crab salad. All were adequate, but extremely overpriced. Good beer selection, but prefer the Draft House for food. As an American living in London, I was excited about a bbq restaurant opening locally, but sadly this place just made me homesick. Also, what sort of smoke house doesn?t do dessert or whiskey/bourbon cocktails?!? For bbq will venture to Bodean?s.
