  1. Another recommendation for Rick. He did a really good job sorting out our leaky pipes and was very polite and reasonable.
  2. Hi ladies, just to let you know that I've started going to a pregnancy yoga class on a Sunday in Brockwell Lido, Herne Hill. Would definitely recommend it. I know a few of you were looking into classes to join so let me know if anyone is around and fancies it. I'll be going next Sunday!
  3. Hi - and congratulations to you all! I'm due on 20 March and have a toddler who is nearly 2.5. I would love to meet up with you all unfortunately I can't make 17th but I am around on Fridays if anyone fancies meeting up during the day - though I will have my son with me, or alternatively I may be able to join you on the next evening meet up. Also, I'm hoping to start pregnancy yoga or pilates in the next week or so - is anyone doing any classes locally that they would recommend?
  4. Does anyone have one of these that are no longer used? Ideally I would like one from the age of 1+ and upwards for my son. Please PM me if you do. Thank you.
  5. We are hoping to go away in Sept/early Oct with our 1 year old toddler and are looking at Mark Warner holidays as a possibility. Ideally we are looking to go not too far - possibly just Europe, but somewhere that will have good weather at that time of year. Have any of you used them or have any other holiday companies that you would recommend which are geared up for children? Much appreciated.
  6. Congratulations Annemarie! Is anyone around on Thursday morning if afternoons are no good?
  7. Hi all, hope you are all well and coping with your bundles! Are there any Mums and babies that fancy meeting next Thursday afternoon? Am thinking of Le Chandelier but open to other suggestions. Would be great to meet some other Mums in the area and share stories.
  8. Hi all - hope everyone is coping ok with their babies and bumps! I've had an eventful few weeks with Milo who is over 4 weeks now - including being admitted to hospital with low BP. Hopefully things are ok now though. I would have loved to meet up tomorrow (and am just about ready for it too) but i have to go to the tongue-tie clinic tomorrow...fingers crossed he doesn't have to have the 'snip'! Will definitely join you on the next meet up though!
  9. Hi all - will be joining you this afternoon in Chandelier, though I won't be able to get there till about 12.15/12.30. Look forward to meeting you all then!
  10. I am now on maternity leave (as of last Friday - woo hoo) and due in 3 weeks, so would definitely be up for meeting with other ladies in the same boat! It does feel very weird not working and just waiting!! Any ideas on date/venue Audrey??!
  11. This sounds like a great idea. I'm due at the end of June with my first and am definitely up for exchanging stories and meeting up.
  12. Am just lovin' this thread... I have burst out about 20 times reading through it.. I am well and truly honoured that my initial 'youth-club-on-a-saturday-night' jibe had a part to play in the Valegate scandal! Apologies to the Bishop and the EDT though, the comment I made about walking around view the competition must have hit a nerve. Oooops.
  13. I agree, but in the interim there is an excellent one on Camberwell Green (opp Superdrug). They did a brilliant repair on my shoes, plus safely looked after my purse (with all my cards/cash) which I left there, until I came back to pick up my shoes. Really impressed.
