I beg to differ, I don't feel like it's a pop festival at all (having been to a few crap pop festivals). Again, it's not hugely about the music but the diversity and excitement of the crowd.
What Strafer and Mr Ben said back on the first page.......it's all about the experience, the people watching, the utter dont-give-a-shit-ness. I love it and feel gutted every year I don't go! Now I've really upset myself.

My Great Grandfather, Charles Laurie, was in the Surrey Rifles as an Artillery Driver. The poor bugger survived the Somme and got drafted into WW11 alongside 5 of his sons. Madness.

Had my fourth lunch at Rocca on Friday, a delicious penne pescatore. Bottle of blush and a complimentary limoncello for a very reasonable price. I'm glad I didn't take notice of Fazer71 afterall!
