  1. Did you get to the meeting on the 20th? If not send me your email and I'll get you added to the group. I don't frequent the EDF that often so I've only just seen this.
  2. I have a daughter in year 1 at Heber and can only sing their praises. She's August born, so one of the youngest, but is excelling in all areas and I can't say it's down to my husband and I in the slightest! She also LOVES school which I think is most important. We live in a catchment black hole so I didn't have any great leaning towards any particular school and I knew I'd be relying on waiting lists. All the schools seemed really nice and I can only say I put Heber as no.1 because of how I felt when I viewed it. Didn't think we'd get in so we're thrilled when we did. I think your lucky to have such a good selection to choose from and I have friends with kids at most of them and they are all happy but I can happily recommend Heber.
  3. Grey Jellycat rabbit lost today from Asquith Peckham Rye nursery from the pre school room. My telephone number is on the label. If your child goes there could you please check their bags. Thanks.
  4. We are meeting for lunch on Wednesday at 1pm at the East Dulwich Tavern. Most will be toddler free. Hx
  5. Will do. I'm useless with anything technical so know how you feel! Hx
  6. Congratulations Gail, hope all is going well. Alexia is on hols at the moment so not sure if she's getting messages. Nursery is indeed a god send as is the tv! Hx
  7. Hi All Evelyn (Evie) Clare McAuliffe arrived at home yesterday, much to my relief! All doing well although exhausted! Phillipa, congratulations and what a super name! What's app sounds good, I'll pm you my number, thanks Alexia. Think I'll miss the cinema on this occasion though. Look forward to meeting up soon. Harriet x
  8. Congratulations Jo, brilliant news and I'd just forced down my 6 dates with a cuppa. Still no movement here. Sorry Mo, I to seem to have missed sending commiserations for your hospital visits, hope things are resolved now. I thought we were meeting 10.30 at the French cafe tomorrow? Hx
  9. Congratulations Annabelle, so glad it all went well and Benjamin is excited, gives me hope! Sally, what a time your having! Hope Hannah is over the worse by now. Fingers crossed Tess doesn't get it, nursery is a mixed blessing at times. Jo, can't believe sweeps can regress! However, good luck next week as at least you know your little one is soon to make an appearance. Ruth, Wednesday sounds good, particularly as I can't see anything happening for me before then, see you then. Hx
  10. Next friday sounds good, can't see anything changing for me before then! Hx
  11. That was also my plan for the morning so should see you there assuming Tess is in the mood to get dressed...
  12. Still pregnant. Anyone around for meeting tomorrow afternoon? Hx
  13. Yes, Peckham rye park. My little one doesn't nap so apologies if this is not suitable, but what about 2.30?
  14. Congratulations to all who have had their babies so far. I have the afternoon of the 17th down for a meet up, shall we say the park again? Should be ok for the 24th as well. Hx
  15. Congratulations Ruth, look forward to meeting Zachary. Happy to still meet on Monday 30th although I don't think I could stand up long enough for muddy boots, my back is killing! Friday 17th also sounds good, count me in. Hx
  16. Hi All Lovely to meet up last week, shame the weather wasn't a little better. Tess wasn't immune to the mud, she scooted straight into a huge black puddle and then fell in, oops! How about another Monday meet up in the park as the weather is finally starting to seem a bit more spring like, 30th March maybe? I think I suggested an evening meet up on the 16th, however as the main group is meeting on the 18th I think it will be easier to just go to that one. H x
  17. Hi All I'm still on for Monday. How about meeting at the cafe in Peckham Rye Park at 10am if the weather is ok? If the weather is not so good, how about the soft play at Peckham Pulse? Harriet
  18. Thanks for starting the Facebook group Mooncake, however I can't find it either! Sounds like the 2nd March is a date that works so I'll have a tot up of numbers closer to the time and make some suggestions as to location. For those not on maternity leave yet, how about an evening meet up, Monday 16th March maybe? Hx
  19. I've started a new thread 'Second time round spring babies'. Hope we can all find a date to meet up with the toddlers x
  20. Can I suggest an initial meeting on Monday 2nd March? I can have a think of a location once there is an idea of numbers although suggestions welcome (essentially somewhere they can rampage! Mine will be 2 years 9 months once no.2 arrives and cannot sit still for 10 seconds!) We could also put an evening date in for those not yet on maternity leave? Hx
  21. Thanks again to Ginny for organising, and what a turn out! The 18th works for me, however given the large numbers, I wondered if it might be more manageable for the second timers to organise a separate meet up so we can include our toddlers? (I?m guessing the first timers will be more than happy to miss this!) Also, I didn't really get a chance to talk to many people given the numbers which was a shame. Could I suggest maybe a day meet up with the toddlers? If anyone fancies it I can start a new thread ?second time round spring babies? to organise? Hx
  22. Also want to recommend Duncan and Alex who replaced my garage door. Nothing seemed a problem, they didn?t complain when they arrived to fit the door and the opening had changed due to some building work, they just got on with it and resolved the problem and the finish is excellent. They were professional and efficient, and as this recommendation is well overdue, I can report the door has been working well for many many months now.
