Then we got onto the topic of CPZ for the roads close to East Dulwich Station and I questioned the decision to make it an all day parking restriction and not just for 2 hours as agreed in Peckham. I was told it was because during the consultation the majority favoured longer hours and so the council had listened to what the residents had wanted. So I guess that was a vote then? This I pointed out and I didn't get much of a response - well a bit of an awkward...er well....
  2. My son loved the music department at Kingsdale when we visited. He had been playing the Bass Guitar for approx 6 months and so practiced a couple of pieces (Metallica and Arctic Monkeys - very cool!) to prepare and was offered a half scholarship. The school put him in for Grade 1 in year 7 and he then covid hit - throughout the closures he still had his music lesson online and was preparing for Grade 2 & 3. So don't be put off by the grades but agreed perhaps a not so popular instrument might help.
  3. Hello, I lost my earphones yesterday afternoon (16.11.2020) - I'm sure they will still be on the ground somewhere or maybe with the squirrels - but if seen please do let me know. They are in ear with a sports cord - grey and yellow. Thank you! MFP
  4. Hi all, My sunglasses have gone missing today. They are Wayfarer style - dark outer frame and green inner. Also fairly scratched from years of incidents. They could be in Dulwich Park or the Landcroft Road area. Thanks, MFP
  5. Please PM me if you have lost a phone in the Landcroft Road area. Thanks, MFP
  6. Hi all, Our beloved Dyson V6 has gone missing on Landcroft Road. My partner was emptying the contents into the bin and was distracted to the point he left the Dyson outside on the bin! We only realised this week when trying to work out why the stair carpet had changed to the same colour as the dog. If anyone happened to pick up a Dyson V6 thinking it was out for recycling could you please pm me. We will swap for a great bottle of something. Many thanks, MFP
  7. Glasses found - thanks to the kind person who placed them on a front garden wall. Much appreciated!! MFP *************** Hello, I lost my reading glasses last night around 6ish either on Goodrich Road or down Crystal Palace Road. If any sighting please PM me. Kind regards, MFP
  8. Hi everyone, I am wondering if anyone has any ideas/suggestions on the following dilemma. I own Westfalia T25 High top Campervan which I have had for three years and I find myself in a position where I can no longer keep it. Unfortunately, I probably paid too much for it in the first place and now market forces have gone against me. Pop tops have shot up in value, and High tops gone down. So if I were to sell it I shall make a considerable loss on the vehicle, something I was trying to avoid from the outset. So I currently see the following options. 1. Sell it and take a big loss 2. Find some cheap secure storage somewhere (doesn't have to be in London) and wait for market forces to come back in my favor. 3. Work it and make it pay for itself - perhaps by finding a company who rents them out and sharing the revenue. If anyone has any experience or thoughts on 2 and 3 I would be grateful to hear them or if any other ideas come up please don't hesitate to share. Happy Camping.... MFP.
  9. I would also highly recommend Michael from Dulwich Driving School. I learnt in my 30's and he was brilliant.
