All their dough comes premixed and they use cornmeal when rolling them out. I watched them and they used separate cutters for the GF bases and put them on a different baking tray lined with fresh greaseproof paper.

Domino's on Grove Vale now stock gluten-free pizzas!

Hilarious. I lost another rib.

Perhaps you're right! It's on the increase compare to say 50 years ago though.

AA was formed in 1935 and the term "alcoholism" was coined in 1849. Although the problem certainly is on the increase, the condition has been around for much much longer than that. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcoholism#History Dyslexia was identified in 1881 and given its current name in 1887. Again - the condition probably existed long before that.

I'm afraid "gluten intolerance" or coeliac condition has been around slightly longer than that. It's facile to suggest that something didn't exist just because it wasn't a well-known condition then or that diagnostic techniques have improved as medical science has advanced. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coeliac_disease#History

Everyone seems to be in such a hurry to scream 'racism' these days. A customer asked, "In what aisle could I find the Irish sausage?" The assistant asks, "Are you Irish?" The guy, clearly offended, says, "Yes I am. But let me ask you something. If I had asked for Italian sausage, would you ask me if I was Italian? Or if I had asked for German Bratwurst, would you ask me if I was German? Or if I asked for a kosher hot dog would you ask me if I was Jewish? Or if I had asked for a Taco, would you ask if I was Mexican? Or if I asked for Polish sausage, would you ask if I was Polish?" The assistant says, "No, I probably wouldn't." The guy says, "Well then, just because I asked for Irish sausage, why did you ask me if I'm Irish?" The assistant replied, "Because you're in Halfords."

Question about stars (the ones in the sky)
David Mc replied to Thomas Micklewright's topic in The Lounge
Don't know about the disappearing star, but I think it wasn't likely to be a supernova. They're quite rare and pretty spectacular: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernova The shooting stars are probably the Perseids: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perseids -

Words that have become fashionable for no apparent reason.
David Mc replied to randombloke's topic in The Lounge
"Ask" used as a noun. "Task" and "exit" used as verbs. "Utilise" and "incentivise", though they're usually spelled with a "z" rather than an "s". "Yeah, yeah, yeah"
