  1. This is also a website worth checking out for any outdoor clothing. Based in Barnes (if not moved). Got sale on some items and last years collections. http://www.vikingkids.co.uk/
  2. I bought a simple baby bath doll in a yellow robe which is very much loved by my 2.5 year old boy. He usually drapes it in a muslin. Simple is best in my opinion. Good luck
  3. Hi, I strongly second Etta's recommendation of having your child in a rear facing car seat for as long as possible. Here is another link with some really good advice: http://www.carseat.se/ Best of Luck
  4. We use our buggy bag for all sort of things. Winter clothes, nappies anything really. The buggy is protected and you can get more things with you for free. I would recommend it and we use ours every time we travel. I use a sling at the airport + a small suitcase with wheels for bits needed on the flight. Works perfectly for us. Best of luck!
  5. Have a look at www.vikingkids.co.uk they have currently got a sale on. Not sure what sizes are left, but worth a look. Best of luck
  6. Every child is different: some are better off with a child minder and some at a nursery. I was a "nursery child" myself, but my sister found it too much and she went to a child minder. My parents were very lucky to have the option to choose. Little Dulwich13 goes to nursery and I would not have it any other way. Apologies if I have confused. Going with your gut feeling is usually a good indicator. Best of luck.
  7. I would like to recommend David Jones - mentioned above, who I found on this forum after needing someone to do a "very detailed and delicate remedial tiling job in our bathroom". David was very friendly and professional. Will definitely use David again if needed. Any queries please feel free to PM me.
  8. I searched for Chimney Sweep on the forum a few weeks back and came across this thread. I would highly recommend Alan. He replied promptly to my request, was able to fit me in quickly, came to the appointment on time, explained to me what he would do and did it all very thoroughly and tidy - no mess at all. Also provided a certificate. http://www.123chimneysweeps.co.uk/ OR call 020 8668 9914/07956385112
  9. I thoroughly recommend this website www.carseat.se great info on site and very helpful regarding advice via email. We have got a Britax Two Way Elite, up to 25kg. Very happy with the seat which we have got rear facing, but can be changed to forward facing when child is older. Really recommend this car seat. Good luck!
  10. I second this recommendation. The brief for the cake that I ordered was spot on! If you want something personal in both taste and decoration I would highly recommend Caroline's cakes and cupcakes. Enjoy!
  11. Hi there, Could anyone please recommend a gutter cleaning company. Thanks
  12. Please find attached info: http://www.nhs.uk/conditions/chickenpox/Pages/Introduction.aspx I found this very useful. My son has just had it 18 months (caught it at nursery). He had a lot of spots, but did not suffer in any other way apart from lack of appetite. No itching at all. Before he had it I thought he might be too young to cope with it, but I do actually think he coped better than if he would have caught it being at an age when he would have been aware of the spots. At this age you are also able to use bodies to avoid them being able to get direct contact with the skin and scratch areas such as the stomach and back. Both of which are prone to be have most spots. However everyone is different and it is very hard to tell how they will cope. My advice is to do what feels right for you.
  13. Hi there, You can take them yourself and print via photobox. It worked perfectly for us. Best of luck :-) http://www.photobox.co.uk/shop/prints/passport-id-photos
  14. Hi there, Please see attached very useful link regarding rearward facing car seats: http://www.carseat.se/ We bought a Britax Two-Wa,y which we are very happy with and our son loves it! Hope you find it useful. Thanks :-)
