I thought France Italy might have produced a shock but it turns out it was Japan! I did read a preview of the competition that said they were much improved and a has a view decent expats playing for them but wouldnt have thought they could have beaten S Africa. Should be an interesting game against us (Scotland) tomorrow tonight. I think Scotland could do pretty well and might come out as a dark horse in the tournament......but then I think that every six nations and the last World cup!

Haha! Shame as I used to enjoy reading some of the ding dongs. Serious question for Rangers fans - or anyone else who would like to voice an opinion - do you think you will get through the playoffs and if you dont, do you have confidence that you would survive another season. I personally think you will go up but if you dont, I dont see where the money will come from to pay the wages next year.

"Uneasy" would be the best way to describe how I feel. To be fair though, I dont get to see any of the games here so I can only make a judgement on the results themselves. To be in sixth place in the league though is fairly damning. I would give him another 10 league games and if things dont change, i think the situation needs to be reviewed. I think Jackie McNamara could be a contender as replacement. Not sure John Collins was the best choice as assistant. He comes across as a self righteous "male chicken", actually Ronnie isnt too far behind him. Anyone who doesnt thinks chips are a great idea must be a bit suspect!

Fried potatoe scones. Black pudding. Thats so cruel to mention them. You cant get them in Singapore and I do so miss them. Mabye I am sad. I did almost wet myself when I came across Irn Bru in one supermarket here. Strangely though, you can get Waitrose curry sauces here - sorry Louisa but they are actually pretty good! Mabye not for breakfast though
