  1. If you want the baby/kids pool be sure to call the Spa - I called today for example and its closed. Also, during the week its mostly open for lessons only. However, you can take babies into the big pool if you fancy.

I may well avoid the bank holiday kids and wait until next Sunday when you can take babies in the baby pool all day long.

Has anyone been to Crystal Palace kids pool? Any good?

  2. the old ones are the best Spadetownboy, I could watch Rising Damp back to back all week!

CitizenED yeah I loved Teachers as well as Waterloo Road which is the same sort of thing

Am just watching Soccer AM with the familia - I love it when they do the Mancunians and they certainly play a good sound track to the show

  3. Will tune in Sunday I think. Its nice when something unexpected (although not that unexpected)like that happens.

I often have thoughts about getting interviewed for the radio where they ask me what I am listening to on my way to work and then because my music is the best i win a competition to meet Ian Brown that morning.

I seen him once on Bermondsy Street and got my picture taken with him like a real stalker - famous people in London Bridge, oops going off track a bit here

  4. See that kinda makes it a bit special for you I think.

I bet you said to Mrs MaCGabhann that you met the whole cast or that the director was your second cousin? No shame in that mind, I would have done the same thing

There seems to be a lot of Homicide in your TV choices now Sean?

Gavin & Stacy I have pre recorded, I couldnt live without sky plus you know.

  5. Certainly was a great review and seems really authentic for a cop show unlike Holby Blue!

I would love to borrow it off you Sean but my son demands me in bed by 9, I swear he will be like 19 saying, come on mam corries over, bed! So for that reason alone I shall try to catch it some other way otherwise you will never see your dvd again.

Where did you come across it? Keep me posted of any newbeies coming up that live up to such standards

  6. xfm was for me too but Lauren annoyed me in the end, same for Sarah Cox on radio1. I find myself listening to Jo Wiley these days whom I find quite soothing. As for Vanessa, yes she is very clever and eloquent but I also think the whole thing leaves people with a very bad taste in their mouths, its all a bit bitter. Did anyone see that documentry with her lovely boyfriend who was watching "who wants to be a millionaire" wearing pound shop shades. Have a word!
  7. Does anyone watch Rescue Me? The best thing on tele since the Sopranos. Denis Leary is the writer and main character and may well have just died in a fire (I recorded it and have watched it up until 10mins ago)

They just dont make them like this in the UK

The only think I have to look forward to now is Peep Show

    What is East Dulwich watching?

  8. But they would fight the Reds to the Death (Keith)!

Err thanks for that Tilli - stick up for your pal and all that, enough now thanks

Sean - hows your breathing today? I am surprised you didnt try to give the chilli to the pensioner on the cheese stand.

  9. Keef thats a bit harsh! Funny though

Badger I hardly ever post as i am too busy looking after my lardy 6 month old but I went to the night out last week and everyone is really really sound so get yourself involved

  10. Glad to hear a few people are going, should be a laugh - I hope there will be some dancing going on, I havent been out for a month apart from down the Dog but day time doesnt count. Maybe we could have Forum Night disco dancing championships, i can cut a few moves ill tell you that now.

Keef you can always have a glass of orange to keep your gout at bay

Tilli see you at 7 honey x

  11. James - The Northside revival has been noted. Fancy starting up a night in Dulwich? Bit of Happy Mondays, Stone Roses and the Smiths all day long...I myself am from Liverpool so we could add to that some classics from the Farm, Echo and the Bunnymen, the Real People and the Zutons - maybe even a bit of Sonia for the hell of it!

Mightroar I am glad you agree on what a ponce he is! I was just also thinking that I quite like The Gossips song but after watching their vid, one of their members is wearing a balaclava for effect I am now thinking otherwise. Its funny how the little things get to you isnt it

  12. Jason Statham and Jamie Foreman in the Dog (Crown & Greyhound) in Dulwich Village and Tracy Barlow from corrie orrie looking lovley on Northcross Road. Also Timothy Spall looking through the window of the Drum and Daniel "I gotta get through this" Beddingfield in the Sea Cow
  13. Your so lucky going to Reading - I have been going to Glastonbury for years but with my lovely son Frankie only being 4 months I have to give it a miss this year

Arcade Fire are amazing I would love to see them live .For all the Stone Roses fans out there am sure you know this already but Ian Browns solo stuff is pretty damn good too. Solarized is highly recommended!

Also I keep seeing Dolly Parton advertised on TV and am quite fancying a bit of Joleen in the summer months.

Jonny Moro from Razorlight - just who does he think he is with his tight whites on, I cant even look at him and as for Kasabian - has the lead singer turned in to Liam Gallagher? On the other hand I seen Maximo Park interviewed and they seem very cool...Just watching them on Soccer AM - did anyone ever see the dance off on Soccer AM - very funny!

I am listening to the Sunshine Underground at the moment who are pretty good I have to say

Is no one on the site into R&B? The devils music itself
