Any recommendations for virtual kids parties?
Peachpie replied to Oxalis's topic in The Family Room Discussion
https://peteheat.co.uk/ My kids were blown away by this magician. Suitable for adults and kids alike. I'd say 10+. -

According to my delivery driver -'apparently a bus was on fire'. Seems to have gone quiet now. -
Has anyone dealt with severe infant reflux?

catchment distance to local secondary schools
Peachpie replied to edbloke's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Some sort of guidance would be helpful as I am not sure how you are supposed to gauge if a school is a viable option. Lewisham has this page https://lewisham.gov.uk/myservices/education/schools/school-admission/applying-to-start-secondary-school/school-admission-distance-map -
Kamath, I emailed Kingsdale re. banding test and they said if you fill in the application form by 31st October you will be sent a banding test date for November/beginning December. It is a lottery system rather than distance.

Where do you get the information for distances of last place offered in Southwark and Lewisham? I don't seem to be able to easily find it. Thanks

Wrong time of year. But at the end of winter launder, thoroughly dry and vacuum pack all wool clothing/items, particularly special clothes so they can't be used to lay eggs on. We replaced wool carpets with synthetic ones too. But now slightly regret that due them potentially going to landfil at end of life but non-wool flooring also cuts down egg laying places.
