Hi, It?s my sons 6th birthday on Saturday and he would like a rainbow cake. Unfortunately it?s too late to get it deliver from mark and spencer. thankyou for all your help, in the end iced the cakes and cut and boxes them around 12 hour before giving them to the guest. I also covered them with cling film which I think helped a lot. the cake came out perfect!! thanyou for all your advice :) chrystle

Hi all, Im having a christening for my son on Sunday and Im giving my guest some cake to say thank you for attending. Here is were I need advice. If I were to cut the cake and put them in the favour boxes the night before, do you think the cake will get hard ? I don't want to give my guest stale cake. I have a lot f people coming on the Sunday and I don't want to waste valuable time cutting cake and putting them in boxes. got around 70 guests. any advice would be great. Thank you Chrystle
