In the past I?ve donated the metal hangers to the dry cleaners next door to post office on Lordship Lane. They were happy to take them.

I go on lots of long walks with my LO ( 11 months). Looking to meet local mums with little ones of similar age for walks during the week. It would be nice to have a natter and cuppa along the way 😊 If interested PM me. Thanks.

HA cannot find a buyer and it?s very difficult when seller owns larger share. And they are very keen on getting their % and have no issues with cash buyer which was expressed more than once. Yes Sale Ed?s to be approved and they will do so I?ve been informed. Estate Agents say it will probably be on open market a while, hence they looked into cash buyers.

Woman of Dulwich - Lease is under 70 years, and I?ve looked into adding on another 90 years. From what the HA are telling me I can start the process which requires small admin fee and that?s all on my part as I?m looking to sell. But I still want legal advice as I?m finding the HA being a little difficult. Unfortunately due to personal circumstances I need to sell quickly. Cash buyers interested through Estate Agents but at knock down price. Thanks Sunbob, will look into your suggestion. Thanks again everyone, Shazza

Thanks Hoopoedi, will give William Bailey Solicitors a call next week. Sally - I?m looking to sell, HA cannot find a buyer so will be on Open Market, but the remaining years on lease is low, I just want to discuss my options with someone before making decision. Estate Agents have cash buyers interested but at very low price. But really need to sell property soon. Thanks all for suggestions. Shazza

Sorry posted in Business section, got no response. Looking for a recommendation for a good Solicitor who deals with staircasing shared Ownership properties, and also can advise on lease extensions. I?ve already tried the place on North Cross Rd and the Solicitors up by the Plough. Can anyone help please? Thanks

Lordship Lane Co Op - still a shambles
shazza76 replied to tomskip's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Co-op is obviously going through a difficult time. Think about the staff who are working in those cold conditions. Shoppers pop in and do their shopping then leave, Most staff are in their all day. Yes, it is cold but they get on with their jobs. Have found the staff helpful and friendly. I have witnessed customers being so rude to the staff when I?ve been in shopping, it?s not their fault. Give them a break. M&S have a small selection of store cupboard essentials, and are quite pricey, it?s always busy. Sometimes it?s handy popping into co-op getting the essentials. Support your co-op! -
Looking for local friendly dads groups in the area.

Hi Admin Just wondering if there's a problem with private messages as I've sent a few but all seem to appear unread. Thank you

Had a take away from Memsaab last night- very disappointing. The last 4 occasions we've had a take away the food has just got worse. We've had either Lamb madras, naga chicken, chicken madras, veggie korma, veggie dhansak, chicken and veggie biryanis, onion bhajis, samosas, The curries just seemed to be very watery with not much flavour. The naga chicken was a big favourite but now it's just so incredibly hot you can't really eat it. Yes, it's a hot dish with naga chillies but it's spoilt when ( it appears so much chilli is used) you can't even enjoy it. The biryanis seem very bland. Onion bhajis over fried -unable to eat. Not sure if they are so busy that the food is just rushed out. It's such a shame as when this restaurant first opened their food was delicious and fresh. Couldn't fault it.
