Hi there, my daughter will start reception in September at Haberdashers Askes Free School in Sept and she doesn't know any other children starting there. It would be great for her to get to know a few children before she starts, so less daunting on day one! So if anyone else is in a similar position and fancies meeting up over the summer it would be lovely to hear from you.

Hi - have you found anything yet? I got an emergency nanny through Tinies SE London. They sent me cvs of 3 people who could be 'on call' for 6 week period day or night. We got a great person through this service and she was great with my daughter who was nearly 3 at the time.

Hi - I'm in the Autumn babies group, but noticed quite a few posts about prenatal yoga in the area on the EDF. I did a great class in SE15 Talfourd Road on a Thursday evening at 7 - I'm posting, as I really enjoyed the class and had struggled to find a class which wasn't too gentle, but which was suitable for pregnancy. It's in the yoga teachers home in a very calming, intimate yoga space with lots of natural light and cushions, rugs etc. It's a Kundalini-style class, so provides a good balance of some quite stretching techniques to build stamina for labour, as well as relaxation and breathing side of things. The class is a small one (generally 5 or 6 people), so is also good to meet and chat to other mums to be at the start - the teacher sometimes invites guests in to give a short 5 min chat at the end about related subjects and we also met up as a group afterwards for a cheap meal out after the class on a couple of occasions. Hi Ruth (and others who may not be on the Facebook page). I'm due 2nd Oct and expecting my 2nd too - have a 2.7 month year old! A few of us who are expecting number 2 and have toddlers etc are meeting tomorrow 10 onwards at the Peckham Rye 1 o'clock club (10-12). We moving on for coffee/early lunch for toddlers 11.15/30 ish in the cafe - so first time mums who just fancy the coffee part of it, very welcome too! Jane x

Hi, I've also just seen this group and have sent a request to join the Facebook group. I'm due 2nd Oct - 2nd baby (first is 2.5 - she's at nursery in Peckham Rye). We've just moved to Brockley/Nunhead area, so would love to meet some local mums! Last week of work next Friday - can't wait as it is knackering the second time round!! Looking forward to meeting some of you :)
