  1. You could have your own party, doesn't have to be anything to do with a birthday, just a general party, and invite the other kids along. Sometimes you have to make the first move to get others interested. You may be surprised at the response. Good luck :-))

A STRONG accusation to make there! Is it also a problem - aren't LibDems proposed policies similar? I'm confused as to why you think that sort of thing is purely a Labour initiated plan? Are not your own ideas targeting mostly voters with families a way of social cleansing? Whilst mud slinging is expected at this time on the cusp of the local elections it would be nice to move into the 21st century and not do this. It doesn't look professional, shows your true side (hmmm you're not as nice as you attempt to portray yourself) and is boring!
  4. If you notice areas which are unsafe report it to the council! From experience, other boroughs tend to respond rather quickly to such reports as they are keen to avoid potential court cases.
  5. Don't be getting too excited cmacnew the land still belongs to the NHS AND there are contradictory plans for the health authorities to use the space - there's a thread on here somewhere
  6. Was it not meant that the cakes were brought in from other sites? It's common practise to make stock off site and ship it in as and when as is moving stock from one site to another
  7. Interested to know the response too.

Well put!
  9. Yes I agree they've done well so far and it's great blah blah blah but I'm not too keen on not sponsoring a local achievement. It's like sponsoring a complete stranger I have no connection with what so ever to run the marathon. It's a shame local schools haven't gotten involved or if they have more awareness hasn't been made.
  10. Out of interest how much pub/road noise is heard in Spurling Road? I mean at such a busy section of the road it must be fairly noisy right? Does that meet the noise levels the council consider acceptable?
  11. Is that not the done thing then?
  12. yo banana dude is ya just having a moan coz ya can? I'm wiv KK I just don't really get wot ur getting at!!!
  13. Interesting to add http://www.london-se1.co.uk/news/view/6493
  14. I recently encountered fraud on my card. The second time in two years and once again the transactions were occuring somewhere in Slough. Is this just a coincidence?
  15. Surely you park anywhere at you're own risk? I do feel sorry for your experience but think it is a little unfair to feel let down by Tescos. If you had parked somewhere else where the cameras did cover it wouldn't mean you would be less likely to have your car vandalised. The camera may not have caught anymore useful footage than none at all.
  16. I believe residents in Chesterfield Grove, where I'm currently staying received notification of the planning application this morning. Not sure if the whole street gets it or just those near to Icelands though? Having looked at the planning application looks like the letter has been sent to 111 people? I don't know the ins and outs of planning mind. Sadly I think given the presubmission stuff it does look likely the application will get the go ahead. The deadline is very soon, over the Christmas period where no one will have much time to deal with this or are away. A clever way to do things but not at all surprising.

  20. I'm going to shamefully do my own plug here... http://www.sjss.org.uk/events/jack-frost%E2%80%99s-christmas-adventure Kid Go Free when calling the Box Office. :-) *I admit I'm with the production!
