I contacted Saied of Dulwich Eco Gardening after reading all his good reviews on this forum. I can now add mine. Saied replaced my extremely bumpy and weedy lawn, front and back, in five days. I left my keys with him and each day I came home to find significant progress from the day before - old grass removed, soil turned over, new turf laid. My floors aren't dirty despite his removing literally tons of earth and rubble through the flat. The lawn now looks beautiful, and I am diligently watering as Saied recommended so it stays that way! The costs were also exactly what he said they'd be. A thoroughly deserved recommendation.

Totally agree with recommends for Dave the Cookerman. He's now come to fix my cooker twice, for different problems, both sorted in a quick visit and on a Saturday too! On the second visit he remembered the problem from the first time round even though it was nearly a year before! Outstanding.

My toilet stopped working last week and as it's my only one it was a bit of an emergency! I called a number of plumbers recommended on the forum and only one could come out the same day - Alex 07460098600. Turned out a part was needed for the cistern but the shops were closed for the day. He gave me a call at 8am the next day having checked as soon as they opened, so I could order online if the shop didn't have it (which they didn't). As soon as the part arrived he came round 2 hours later to install it. Such good customer service - thanks Alex!

Just wanted to recommend Floor Sander Rental of Catford (floorsanderrental.co.uk). Got their name from the Forum, so thanks previous recommenders! They did a fantastic job sanding, filling gaps, staining and varnishing my decrepit pine floors, which now look brand new. There has been no damage to skirting boards and zero dust. Plus they are nice guys who call and keep you up to date with what's happening. I had no problem trusting them with keys. I'm very glad I decided not to try to do this job myself!
