Co-op were recently selling some Cadbury's bars with 'puddles' of hazlenut flavoured filling. Love hazlenut things, but these were foul, flavoured liquid, not real hazlenut, could not even finish it.

They do have a high pitched bark, and because of that, I couldn't ever get one, even though they are very popular now. My cousins used to have them back in the day, one after another, and the barking to me was like squeaky chalk on a blackboard. Bonniebird makes very good points.

I went to a kindergarten, aged 5, for half a day. It's the year before starting primary school in the United States, and many other countries. The word nursery to me always makes me think of a room with lots and lots of cots in it, with sleeping or crying babies.

House prices (in East Dulwich)
Mustard replied to Earl Aelfheah's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
There are/were 4 bed houses selling in the Bellenden area for ?1 million plus, and then having lots and lots of work done, two are in Oglander Road. Both houses were/are boarded up in the front, and one had huge piles of earth out front, looked like it might be a basement conversion..... -

The No Flies company have had quite a few people praising them on here. I guess if you do a search, you can find out more info. -

Raisin and biscuit Yorkies were rather good.

I used to take large Fruit and Nut/Nut only Bars, also Crunchies and packs of Curly Whirlies. I would take Fry's Chocolate Creams now, plus some of the Green and Black's different flavours. The chocolate from Lidl and Aldi is worth picking up, but obviously not British.

Have you looked online at reclamation yards? I like Cox's Architectural Salvage Yard in Moreton in Marsh.

Description of 'children' would be useful. -

Southwark Council spent a boatload of money about ten or more years ago tarting up some of the streets round there. House owners had to contribute very little. This quite often included replacing front doors and paths as well. I heard rumors there was some sort of grant from somewhere. -
What is the law on a car parking in front of your garage?
Mustard replied to Mustard's topic in The Lounge
The car has gone, finally, I guess the tickets helped, but also if the Community Support Officer I latterly spoke to at the 101 number said they would send a Safer Neighbourhood team person to the registered keepers address to see why it was parked there. Maybe that is what worked, as the first and second ticket didn't. -

Went there on Friday, and had a freshly made tasty empanada (?1.50) with chili sauce on the side and tropical juice. They also had a menu listing lots of different arepa choices. Service was super quick.

What is the law on a car parking in front of your garage?
Mustard replied to Mustard's topic in The Lounge
Good question! It's not near me, so don't know, but the recent police operator said she would ask for someone to be sent to the registered keeper's address to see if they are ok. The car is taxed and insured. -

One person revealed that the car is registered at an address at least 30 minutes drive away. -

What is the law on a car parking in front of your garage?
Mustard replied to Mustard's topic in The Lounge
The car is parked right in front of garage door. The driveway is very short. It's in an area where there is resident's parking, so it's probably to avoid paying for either a permit, a ticket from a machine, or a daily fee. The garage roof needs repairing and the person I engaged to repair the roof cannot even start due to this car. I also have items in the garage I need to get to. -
What is the law on a car parking in front of your garage?
Mustard replied to Mustard's topic in The Lounge
It's on my driveway, directly in front of the garage I own, so access is not possible. There is a dropped kerb. It has happened before with different cars. One time some friends bounced the car off the drive. I called 101 to report it a previous time (3 months ago) and gave them the registration number and was told it wasn't a local car. Called the council that time, and they said they would send someone to ticket the car. It disappeared. This time the 101 number wasn't interested. I offered the reg number and was told it wasn't needed. I explained what had happened before and I was told that that telephone operator should not have done a search on the registration number. This was only 3 months ago. -
The police aren't interested. Didn't even want registration number. Council have been called to ticket it. Was told it can be ticketed once a day for three days, and then be reassessed. Can you clamp a car on your own property? The garage is not next to my house.
