Ideas for holiday abroad with kids - 3.5 and 1.5
SEnewbie replied to The_Monkeyboy's topic in The Family Room Discussion
HI Cant really offer any ideas but can say that renting a villa is really nice as you have all the facilities of home with 2 young kids. We did it last year in Portugal with our then 2 year old and 10 month old (Sardinia the year before with just one child). Both were fine around the pool, yes you do have to be careful and watch them but they also learn the dangers and just keep armbands on them as much as possible. We are going back to the same place this year. Good luck with holiday planning. -

St Anthony's School - nursery query
SEnewbie replied to SEnewbie's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Yes Still need letter from priest. I don't mind not getting a nursery place but Im concerned a rejection will have a impact on reception application? -
I've just applied for a nursery place in Sept 16 but have a feeling we wont get one due to irregular mass attendance (mainly because of 2nd baby & some health problems). My main concern is will this have any impact on an application for reception? I'm a bit worried that we should of just waited until school age, when our mass attendance will be better! Thx

Advice on bottle feeding needed please
SEnewbie replied to Knomester's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Hello Get the slow teat... Usually newborn stage 1. I found medala bottles brilliant when I was struggling with breastfeeding & needed to top up with a bottle them switched to advent ( similiar to tommy tippee). http://www.mothercare.com/on/demandware.store/Sites-MCENGB-Site/default/ProductExtensions-GetImageZoom?pid=322906 The bottle is expensive but worth it if combination feeding. Best of luck, sounds like you're doing everything you can ;)
