  1. I quite like facebook. Not sure what ????'s post is all about. Someone in such a senior job in social media really should be wise to the risks of posting sloppily on Twitter.

    Sold

Emmanus will not take it if it pre-dates the fire-retardant foam regulations and/or if it doesn't have the safety labels intact.
  3. Can anyone say roughly what the wording on the petition is? And how could a petition to the council help in these particular circumstances?
  4. What about the Salvation Army just up the road? I don't know if they take dogs, by the way, I was just trying to think local.
  5. A link to the development proposal would be very helpful.
  6. Shame, I wasn't aware there was anything special going on. Has it been advertised? I would have come down if I'd known.
  7. That is incredibly steep for a 5 day trip in the UK.
  8. Which different bodies would they be James?
  9. Are Kingsdale still famously keeping their class sizes down to 20? How about they go up to 30 per class (like all other state schools) and scrap the lottery? I don''t support a new school on the Dulwich Hospital site.
  10. I cannot support this school if it is going to be so close to The Charter school. Ditto if it is going to be another Harris Academy. But, yes, we do need a new co-ed secondary for East Dulwich children. I don't suppose there's any chance of persuading Kingsdale to give up their lottery? Also, if secondary schools scrapped the automatic sibling place policy then we would have less renting in postcode to get the first child a place and the Charter catchment might expand slightly.
  11. It is cheaper because it is not in the heart of East Dulwich. You pay an enormous premium to be close to Lordship Lane and that is worth it for some people. Only a very small part of SE22 is actually all that close to ED station, which really borders Camberwell. But Peckham Rye, Honor Oak and Forest Hill stations are arguably more useful anyway, as they have a greater number of destinations. And the line from ED to London Bridge always seems to be disrupted at the weekend!
  12. Well, I found it an interesting link! Thanks op.
  13. I strongly suspect that any trolling largely goes unnoticed by the vast majority of posters on the EDF.
  14. I didn't set eyes on or even speak to the two surgeons who performed my elective at Kings. The screen had gone up by the time they came in to the room. I don't think they actually said hello to me! The midwife and the anaesthatists were brilliant though.
  15. If it was one of the stag party and it was an accident (still grim and not easy to forgive imho), then the appropriate thing would have been for one of the perp's mates to at least offer to clean it up. And they should have left a hefty cash apology behind the bar.
  16. Love Dawson's heights. If you walk up there from the path on Dunstan's Road you come in to the car park (and the famous view) and it is possible to walk through the grounds of the Estate to Overhill Road. It is immaculately kept and looks to be a wonderful place to live.
  17. There is one at Pimlico Academy on Sundays which has the great advantage of having some indoor places. East Dulwich is not very well served by car boot sales.
  18. There is one at Pimlico Academy (not too far away) on Sundays which has the great advantage of having some indoor places. East Dulwich is not very well served by car boot sales, to be honest.

    The Patch

Ah, not what I was expecting at all.
