  1. Passed it yesterday and it's still an awful mess despite reporting it nearly 2 weeks ago
  2. To be honest since they changed their opening hours my husband and I have hardly been able to use their in branch services so no major loss for us
  3. Was just going to ask the same but also interested if anything is happening on 31st
  4. Can anyone advise me where/when the local breastfeeding caf?s are and if a lactation expert attends any. Thanks in advance x
  5. Can't really add much more than Dawn and mrslotte have said other than my son is quite a clingy child but after just 2 days of attending breakfast and after school club he had completely settled and often on occasion would ask if I could 'come back later' to pick him up.
  6. When I called the surgery they read and spelled my details back to me and it was all correct. Apparently the only way to 'resolve' this is for me to go into the surgery with photographic ID to then be issued a letter which I then will have to take away and try again....and hope that that actually works!
  7. Well I have tried registering all 5 members of my household and all i keep getting is that the information that I am entering does not match the details that the practice holds.
  8. Does anyone know when the labour ward tours at Kings happen. I asked whilst there yesterday and none of the staff seemed to know.

    Dildos.

Sitting at work reading this with a colleague both as confused as hell! lol
  10. Survey completed. I definitely am interested in more info
  11. Thanks guys. I'm off shopping for a drill this afternoon!
  12. The drill does have the 2 options but to be honest I think it's just a rubbish drill( I inherited it from my grandpops). I definitely think its time for a new one I just don't have a clue what to get especially as I want a powerful one. Sending me into b&q to buy a drill I'd probably give up and walk out with some wallpaper and paint.
  13. Our house seems to be made of some kind of impenetrable stone and trying to do basic diy is near impossible with our current drill. Can anyone recommend a powerful drill suitable for an amateur so we can finally get these shelves and blinds up!
  14. Does anyone know of any activities locally that may appeal to a 13 year old girl. Since leaving primary school she hasn't been doing any extra-curricular activities through school(apparently they are 'boring') so I want to try and get her signed up for something locally that isn't associated to school. Any suggestions gratefully received!

My son goes to Dulwich Leisure Centre for > swimming lessons - we're happy with it. > To be honest other than how dirty the changing rooms were and how busy the classes got I wasn't that unhappy with the lessons but since I have been looking into re-starting his lessons the feedback I have read and heard from parents who are still enrolled there or have moved their children, aren't particularly great.
  16. My 6 year old used to attend Dulwich leisure centre for swimming lessons but we had to pull him out around Summer time for health reasons. Now he has a clean bill of health we want to re-enrol him but lately I have been hearing some not so good reviews about the swim school in Dulwich. Any recommendations for other swimming lessons in the area?
  17. Other than the wacky warehouse type pub/restaurants does anyone know of any restaurants in London that have a play area or the like for children. Myself and a few family members are wanting to meet up for dinner with all of our children but would like somewhere where we can relax for a bit after the meal and the kids can play. Any suggestions?
  18. As everyone else has already said, try and get there around 8.15 and hopefully you'll be out by 10 the latest. They've put a lot more effort into the service from 2 years ago to when I used it last week. Lovely staff and very thorough. Hope all goes well x
  19. Thanks Cora, I'll check that out
  20. Do any other parents send their children to any martial arts classes in East Dulwich? My boys were going to a judo class on a Wednesday afternoon at Dulwich Leisure centre and the guy who runs it was lovely but I wasn't sure if they were progressing as they should. Just wanted to see what else was out there.
  21. Again, another recommendation for Andy and Richard. My husband contacted Andy for a quote for some general DIY, he was quoted a very reasonable price and was able to pop round to view the job within 24 hours. The job was then completed within 48hrs and to accommodate mine and my husbands busy schedule. Andy was super friendly, professional and reliable. Very happy with his work, will definitely use again.
  22. Hi guys Just wanted to pick your brains on child care and what you think is more cost effective. How much does a childminder charge approximately for wrap around childcare or after school care and do you think this is cheaper than after school clubs provided by schools? Thanks in advance.
  23. Hi guys Any suggestions for a boys 6th birthday party. He will be 6 in January so anything outdoors is not ideal and we wanted something preferably that is an all in one package(venue, food, entertainment) to save on work!
