Ideas for last minute get away in UK in August
mummydaddyme replied to Undiscovered's topic in The Family Room Discussion
The new forest is amazing and you could always do a day trip to the Isle of Wight while there -
It turns out that our baby is allergic to cats and we have two. We've spoken at length to the gp and a few other professionals and it seems that our best option is to try and re-home them. They are mum and son so we'd like them to go together. Does anyone have any ideas on our best plan of action?

wedding venue in ED or peckham?

St Faiths in Red Post hill has s beautiful hall with a great garden -
To the dad whose child was just knocked off the roundabout at goose green park, next time mind whose child you're talking to in that manner. Your child came off the roundabout because YOU were not supervising your child appropriately and to make matters 10x worse you were extremely rude to my child because of the speed of the roundabout when the child that was actually pushing it ran away when your son fell off. I even asked if your child was ok and needed anything but you were just a RUDE and ARROGANT individual. If not for your child being clearly hurt and upset I would have put you in your place there and then you nasty piece of work.

Baby swimming recommendations please
mummydaddyme replied to Sesame's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Dulwich and Peckham leisure centres run baby swimming lessons. We go to Dulwich which can sometimes feel a bit chilly but Peckham use the hydrotherapy pool. -
Does anyone know when Charter East Dilwich will be letting families know whether their child has been offered a place? I know when the head did a talk at my children's primary school he said it would be before national offer day but I'm just wondering when.

Non collectors/no shows for items offered for sale/free
mummydaddyme replied to minder's topic in The Lounge
I've been on the other end of this. Genuinely wanting to buy something, been given a day and time to collect then the seller doesn't get back to me with their address. What winds me up even more is that my messages have been read by them and then they re-post the same items for sale again. -
Just a quick heads up for those that didn't already know. Southwark council's bulk collection can now only be booked online and the service is no longer free. There is a ?16 charge.

Does anyone know of or attend baby massage or baby sensory classes in ED. I've searched for some locally but can't find any. Surely in this area which is so heavy populated with babies there must be such classes running?

I need a tutor for my 13 year old daughter. She is in year 9 and whilst we want someone to do some general work with her she needs a bit of extra support in English language and Geography. Any recommendations?

The Spin Doctor (Appliance Repair) Recommendation

Cannot recommend this guy highly enough. This is about the fourth time we've used him now and he's always been friendly, reliable, prompt and very competitively priced. Cannot fault his service one bit -
