  1. I would like to recommend the fantastic hair colourist and stylist Anna G. Anna has extensive training and uses all the latest techniques and products. 2. I?ve struggled with moths for years. Tried all of the above treatments but they are preventative and will have no effect if you have a serious infestation. Wanted to try those wasps but they cost a fortune. We had moths in the carpet so nothing worked. Recently tried Formula 'P' Carpet Moth Super Fumer Smoke Bomb (from Amazon). It says it?s safe for humans but we did air the whole house for a couple of hours before going back in. We did two applications, two weeks apart. I think you need to smoke the whole house to get them all - we even put one in the cellar. Haven?t seen any moths since. Really pleased with the result and feel stupid for not trying this earlier - could have saved so many jumpers!
  3. General stars. Classes run at Charter school. https://m.facebook.com/GeneralStarsGymnasticsClub/
  4. They wouldn?t have any open days until the new academic year. Try calling the school in early October. We are also very happy with the school. Moved here from central London specifically to get into JKPS and never regretted that decision. Great community and ethos.
  5. This is actually rather fun, although should be in the General section
  6. Interesting article, Saffron! One of the reasons why one shouldn't focus too much on test results and stats in general.
  7. It's so tough to find a class when they are too big for a baby class but too small for a proper one! I was so frustrated when my son was that age! Tritons swim school at Downside Fisher in Bermondsey do this age group. They are really lovely and small class sizes. 42 bus goes there.
  8. We have that bag for playmobil. It's good. Really helps with the tidying up. If you can get your children to play only in the mat, that is.
  9. I have a son a year older and also sometimes find myself stuck for ideas as I don't always want to buy him brightly coloured plastic things that he will lose interest in after 3 days. I think stuff for dressing up works quite well. (Melissa and Doug is probably best for quality). There are a couple of European brands that do slightly more unusual games (djeco, moulin Roty) but they are difficult to find. Kinder La La in Herne Hill have a nice selection of these brands plus playmobil and a few other brands. Tales on Half Moon Lane also has a few interesting things, not just books.

  12. I've guessed the sex of my baby using 'the angle of the dangle' theory. This isn't a great picture. If that small line is the nub then I'd say this is a boy. Congratulations whichever sex it is!
  13. We are in the same boat. Haven't yet sorted it out but spoken to a urologist and he said 1. Do not lift them at night. If you do, make sure they are fully awake. Otherwise you'll be making it worse as they don't learn to wake up for a wee. 2. Many children drink more in the afternoon. It's not enough to just not let them drink before bedtime, the parents should get the child drinking more in the morning so they are not as thirsty in the afternoon. To understand the pattern of your child's hydration, write down the time and amount of every drink and wee(yes, this means weeing in a measuring jug) for a minimum of 2 consecutive days. If this doesn't work, they can also do a bladder assessment at the hospital (we are doing this privately). It's good that your boy wants to wake up to go to the toilet, that's half the job done! Good luck!
  14. Book start at 10 am http://www.southwark.gov.uk/events/event/904/
  15. Does anyone know if you still need to use the temporary bridge and therefore 3 flights of stairs if going to London Bridge?
