The heating element has gone in our cooker(I think). Anyone have any recommendations for someone who may be able to fix this?

Santa grotto... is it too early to mention this?
mummydaddyme replied to dibden's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Absolutely love the Santa experience at Ruxley Manor. There's a Christmas shop and I've rink there too. Can't fault it, we've been there for the last few years -
Family Firework Display Saturday 7th November
mummydaddyme replied to Bob Jaffe's topic in What's on in East Dulwich
Are children over 10 ?5 too? -
Hi Louisa, no particular reason but it would be a shame to see it go or be redeveloped and unrecognisable. I think it is a nice feature in ED

What time are you taking your children trick or treating this evening?

Does anyone know what's happening with the vicarage across the road from St Johns church? There's been lots of work going on their recently, however, it appears nobody lives there anymore.

Goose Green Primary After School club
mummydaddyme replied to RoseJadeH's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Can't really add much more than Dawn and mrslotte have said other than my son is quite a clingy child but after just 2 days of attending breakfast and after school club he had completely settled and often on occasion would ask if I could 'come back later' to pick him up. -
Evening Can any of you lovely lot recommend an automatic driving instructor. I don't mind male or female just a good one and local. Thanks in advance

I'm after a cleaner for a one off, relatively deep clean for our 2 bed flat. If you are or you can recommend a reliable, thorough cleaner please pm me. Needed for the coming week

When I called the surgery they read and spelled my details back to me and it was all correct. Apparently the only way to 'resolve' this is for me to go into the surgery with photographic ID to then be issued a letter which I then will have to take away and try again....and hope that that actually works!

Well I have tried registering all 5 members of my household and all i keep getting is that the information that I am entering does not match the details that the practice holds.

Does anyone know when the labour ward tours at Kings happen. I asked whilst there yesterday and none of the staff seemed to know.

Sitting at work reading this with a colleague both as confused as hell! lol

Thanks guys. I'm off shopping for a drill this afternoon!
-
The drill does have the 2 options but to be honest I think it's just a rubbish drill( I inherited it from my grandpops). I definitely think its time for a new one I just don't have a clue what to get especially as I want a powerful one. Sending me into b&q to buy a drill I'd probably give up and walk out with some wallpaper and paint.

Our house seems to be made of some kind of impenetrable stone and trying to do basic diy is near impossible with our current drill. Can anyone recommend a powerful drill suitable for an amateur so we can finally get these shelves and blinds up!

Are you or do you know any good cleaners in the area? I need someone to come in and do a deep clean. Recommendations gratefully received!
