Our best local bike shop is Balfe's bikes also on East Dulwich Road, providing a service to local cyclsts for long before Evans moved in. Excellent service, highly recommend. I've bought 3 bikes from them, lovely people. They have been open most of the lockdown and do a ful range of services.

Yup. Looks like it, assumed they might have developed one for Android by now, clearly not.

Have you tried contacting the people behind Cyclemaps? they are UK based and very responsive.

Google is positively dangerous!

Yes you can, in settings you have to select voice navigation

I recommend Cyclemaps app - been using it for years. You can set it to show existing cycle paths, and choose fast or quiet routes, amongst many other options. If you are only looking for easy cycle routes try the Routes on https://www.letsride.co.uk/ huge variety.

The Cyclemaps app is great for finding quiet routes from A to B, just make sure you use the settings to Quiet rather than Fastest routes! I've been using it for years. Terrif

A gang of goldfinches in my garden this morning on Marsden Road

That was my point exactly. I use that M and S, park my bike(locked up) there while I shop. It is entirely relevent to me whether the bike was locked or not. Is the area becoming a high risk area for locked bikes, or was the theft purely opportunistic on the basis that a bike was left unlocked...

Was the bike locked to a parking post?

I'm having constant drop out problems. V annoying - I WFH too Marsden Road.

THere is a little knoiwn ferry in Rotherhithe at Nelson Dock pier - accessed through the Hilton Doubltree. Its costs. but does take bicycles and goes straight across the river to Canary Wharf. Easy access from here

Dangerous long extended dog lead
louisemurray replied to dimples's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I agree, lethal for cyclists. -
I've had a bad year for toadspawn after a spectacular year in 2018. Overall less spawn laid, and many of the eggs turned white and dead before hatching. Not many tadpoles this year. ANyone else had a similar experience? I'm in Marsden road.
