Hi Ashley a small group of us run on a Monday morning at 930 from Dulwich Park usually, through the woods when its not too muddy. We are pretty slow but you are welcome to join us. we run 5-6 K usually unless someone is injured. Coffee afterwards is virtually mandatory! I have an underwater torch that was fullly discharged last time I used it. I cannot recharge the batteries. THe charger says no contact, but there is power flowing through the leads. Need to get this up and running fast - by monday tuesday latest - any ideas as to where to go for this? Can anyone help Louise 07808 720016

The park authorities have been trying to control the robust rat population around the lake and surrounds. There are many rodent control points - small black plastic things with bait and poison. On one walk last week I saw over 6 different rats. I am sure that the park people try to site the baited traps away from areas that might be accessible to dogs, Dog walkers beware.

I agree with Bobbsy and Bargee, no local trains through to East Croydon make getting to gatwick MUCH harder , we've already lost ED to EC, now Forest Hill too! Beyond Clapham Junction - shudders. Any other options avoiding LB?

The place poster kford is talking about is Fixation http://www.fixationuk.com/ - they will give you a quote for repair - Canon technicians. Maybe call them with the serial number first so that they can tell you if its worth repairing ie differentiate between the F1.8 and the F1.2
