  1. I'd like to add a recommendation for Dave to this thread. Dave came to look/quote at very short notice when we were worried that we had a damp issue we'd need to fix before a new kitchen was installed. He was honest and straightforward - telling us that there actually wasn't a damp issue, how to sort out the mould we could see easily ourselves, and avoiding us unnecessary expense. Much appreciated.
  2. V cool concrete table for sale for £300 or nearest offer. Originally from Swoon and we bought it second hand about 3 years ago. Have loved it but we’re having a baby so need a bit more space / something with softer corners! 210 length 100 width 76 height It has a bit of a bow in the middle as you can see from the pic where I’ve put a plank on the top, has had it since we got it. You’re very welcome to come and look at it if interested. Can also send more pics!

  5. We are having a baby and so having to rejig what feels like our whole house! As a result we are selling our lovely velvet sofa bed and armchair. Originally bought from made . com in 2019, from the "Orson" range in seafoam blue velvet, they are in very good condition and very comfy. The sofa has been used as a sofa in our living room since 2019. It has been used as a bed only a handful of times. The chair has been barely used. We haven't got any kids (yet!) or pets. Dimensions: Sofa - 201 x 79 x 97 Chair - 79 x 99 x 97 Asking for £350 o.n.o for both together. We're in SE19 by Gipsy Hill Station. IMG_7012.HEICIMG_7014.HEICIMG_7016.HEIC
  6. Steve and Nichola from Back to Wood have just left our house after spending the week sanding and finishing four of our rooms, and I wanted to leave a delighted review and recommendation! Back to Wood are professional and they take pride in their work. When they arrived our floors were a right state (original 1895 victorian house - never been done). Back to Wood took up the old carpet and grippers and did necessary repairs carefully and thoughtfully (for example sourcing matching old floorboards to replace ones that wouldn't match when done). The finished floors look absolutely awesome, we couldn't be happier. Also, we work from home, and they kept disruption to a minimum by sealing themselves and any dust in the room they were focusing on and letting us know when the noisiest parts would be so we could work around it. It actually was significantly less disruptive than I feared. The cost was really reasonable. All in all really lovely people who have done a really great job. Attached before and after photos of one of the rooms so you can see. Contact email [email protected] and mobile 07949 411650.
  7. Joseph and his team have just picked up, delivered and constructed a (very heavy) table for us. Really pleased. Nothing a bother for them and very reasonable price. We also had Joseph and his team help us with our house move a couple of weeks ago, and he managed to fit all of our one bedroom flat in his van, which meant only one trip and so again very reasonable price. Good, clear and easy communication. Recommended if you want a stress free time in moving anything!

  10. Have you tried Space at 61 which is a really nice space on Cheltenham Road at the bottom of the Rye?
