Another recommendation for Steve! He has given our garden a complete makeover and it now looks amazing. He also completed some painting and got our house ready to sell. We have been coordinating this from Sydney and he was extremely easy to deal with. He couldn?t have been more helpful and kindly also took delivery of a carpet. Can anyone recommend a reliable cleaner please? Having had a bad experience before I don't want someone who exploits immigrants whilst claiming to do the work themselves. Ta

We meant to post something at the time but never got round to it. We also had Sandra come round to do a deep clean following some building works in December. Again Sandra turned up on the first day with a lady who spoke no English. My husband who was in at the time noted that the Polish lady was doing all the work whilst Sandra was on her phone. The second time only the Polish lady turned up and she spoke not a word of English and we suspected that she was unlikely to be receiving anywhere near the full amount of money from Sandra. This made us feel uncomfortable. As such we would not recommend using Sandra.

Another recommendation for Rafal. He built some cupboards around our bath and some cupboards in our new loft bedroom. He even very kindly fitted us in for the bathroom one so as not to delay the building of the loft. He arrives on time, works hard and is a pleasure to work with. We had just had brand new carpets installed in the bedroom but that was no problem as he does most of the cutting in his workshop and is extremely tidy. Both cupboards look great and the quote was extremely reasonable. We plan to get Rafal back to do some more cupboards in the lounge. Thanks!

I would also recommend Clive. He very kindly came round on a sunday to sort out our plumbing issue. Diagnosed the problem quickly and at a reasonable price.

We had some photos taken of our son as part of the Kings fundraising event at all fired up. They were so nice that we decided to go for a full length session in the park. Sara-Jane managed to get some truly lovely photos of our 10 month old as well as capturing his personality. The only problem was that there were too many great photos to choose from! They will be sitting proud on our walls for many years to come. Highly recommended. Thank-you!

Perhaps one of the bigger pharmacies might have access to a point of care INR testing machine. It's similar to a diabetic checking their blood glucose and gives you an instant result. No need to send blood to a lab. Then you could call GP with level who can advise on dose. These are used in some hospitals. Or there will be an anti coagulation clinic at kings that might be more helpful.

We have been a couple of times for brunch with an 8 month old and were a bit worried about bringing a baby. There is no room for a buggy so went with the sling. They provided a high chair and were extremely friendly. Food was delicious!

I can't do 1st June as I'm at a wedding in Scotland. I was sorry to have missed the last gathering and hope you all had a lovely time and are keeping well. Maybe we could have another mid week dinner soon? x
