London is a graveyard of a store. It's the last refuge of the desperate ( Xmas pudding in July) and a stoners paridise. It's got nothing 'special' and it's had its day Whereas the multicultural inclusive Nando's is going to attract a whole New diverse crowd to it. It will adds splash of much needed colour to the area. That red cockerel will look great on the Lane. I can't see what's wrong with a superchain owned by a reclusive South African billionaire . And with 300 odd outlets they certainly know their business. Plus they'll be there for years, even when the Brexit recession kicks in.

Keep us posted. > > Seabag how did you find accommodation and was it > close to the gallery? Well it was a bit of a change of plan. Basically I ended up having to attend a meeting in Madrid two days before, so I caught the Madrid to San Sebastien train after instead of driving via Bilbao instead. This is a 5 hr journey and I got on without any cash but had my cards. Anyway I had a lovely window seat and went to grab some breakfast, only to find my cards we're not accepted or going through even tho I had money on them. Not great at 8:00 am but hey, I had water. However, a very nice man who was with his family paid for my breakfast and coffee. He spoke great English and we chatted and I thanked him and it turns out he's working at the ministry of fianance in Madrid. So all vey kind. Tomorrow I fly to Madrid and we're meeting up for breakfast later this week so I can repay the compliment and it's a very nice thing to be able to do. So the long and the short is I never got to Bilbao, but the rest of the trip was great fun. And who know but I might end up making friends with the guy and his family. I travel in Spain a fair bit of late, if I'm driving I head generally where I'm after and use google maps for hotels nearby. It's random but works a treat or Air BnB.

Its a toss up for me, between which is the more depressing Londis or Worcester? Actually what is Londis handy for, apart from shoplifting ?

Ever painted a hall stairs and landing ? Its all stairs and ladder work, which makes it the most challenging decorators job. ?2K isn't a lot. When I was in interior business we did a house in Bromley. Strip and re-dec ?14k.

It was opposite the Swan Pub on the corner. On the High Street opposite to River Road. There's a tearoom there now, mind you there's a tea room in every book and cranny in Arundel. It's one of those places that are lovely to visit, tho living there can be interesting. One summer a couple of older ladies thought they'd take s look through the window of our cottage. When I asked if I could help one casually replied "No it's fine, we're just having a look" when I suggested she might want to step out of of our front garden, she looked slightly miffed. "Ok, no problem" she said shaking her head. Ha! Loved it there, proper bonkers.

It all ends the same way. The chicken ends up dead as that's the requirement before the cooking /eating part. So if a little prayer is said along the way, then so be it. God of choice rest it's soul. And if is what it takes to create a more inclusive eating place, then I wish them luck.

I used to live in Arundel, bought my first house there in Queens Lane That museum was great and weird, it was our teen 'aren't we odd/hip' favourite place

Boring people who yabba on in cafe's like Brickhouse as I'm trying to work Shhhhh, can't you see a man needs peace. It's why I have to wear expensive Bose noise cancelling headphones.

There is nowhere to move onto 'after Nando's' it is what it is. That said there is a great French chicken shop in Notting Hill, but even they'll admit to being a posh version of Nando's Thankfully they saw fit to bottle their sauces too. Next?

It's a sh*t storm of reality. I'm a fan of his (which currently feels like being a fan of the grim reaper) way of talking. It's clear, direct, substantial. I also agree that the greater reality is there's a strong racist correlation to this whole Brexshit debacle. I'm currently reading this in a hotel room in Amsterdam. I'm seriously considering a move to here or Ireland business wise. We're a dead duck in the U.K. I'm an importer and exporter within Europe and U.K and by-passing the UK is looking more and more likely. Hey ho! Brexit means Brexit which means we're fkd

Hornimans Museum is lame. If you want to shelter from the rain or take a child somewhere to cry in a cafe, then maybe here will suit. But for a day out, meh.

Natty dude, your approach is somewhat challenging. Make some effort worth conversation or you're going to be in the weirdo bin. Depressed, sad, vulnerable or whatever, you're fit enough to post and start new threads. So start communicating beyond the one liners. Next? -

Come on Keano, as much as you write floridly about the situation you do have a history of backing flops. This Brexit shite you've so wed yourself to is much like the handbag & hampers business you ran and failed with. You spent hours and weeks writing ad's to sell the crap you'd pinned the future on. So as much as you try and reason and argue the position of Brexit , it'll end in a familiar place of basement sale and horse trading like you've been in before. Only this time, spare us the effort.

Has David Davis shed a few pounds? It must be all the hard work he's putting in.
