  4. FM Mangal is way way too salty, stopped me going there anymore. It's shame. Lavante in Lewisham is fun.
  5. Take a deep breath, the Eoro is going to take a further march against sterling. The pound is weak and will weaken further, we know why. D Davis and his cronies need tazering in the face. Take your own Pot Noodles is my rec.
  6. Hisar is pony, not all of it but the gunk they serve as Taramasalata is shocking. And by trying to fob you off with something that's knowingly horrible is telling, added to that thier hummus is just as bad. It's the cheap stuff that comes in 10 litre buckets. I'm not opposed to buckets it's the cheap nasty stuff inside. I wonder why you'd do that as a business, it's plain nasty and put me off of the good bit, which is the grilled lamb & chicken on a skewer. But as Lou said, the chilli sauce is good.
  7. I was in a restaurant in a hotel in Kerala South India, back in February. An big Indian family came in, from grandmas to little babies. The food flowed and the mum was sitting near to me and we chatted. I asked what she thought of the food. "Yeah nice, but not as nice as the food in Bradford"

  9. That's exactly it, you can reside there and I'd love that , but you can't even buy a pint of milk. And for a village that's a bit lacking. Mind you, don't you make milk RPC ?

  11. Ocado? Be honest tho, other than the 'in the Village' brag and the house prices, it's a pony place to live.

  13. Fekk, is that what it is? I've had a reoccurring washed out feeling for weeks, had a holiday and a break but still feel jittery. That said I do push myself hard due to my work. I'm currently in Madrid and wondered if it was blood pressure , though I've always had a really heathy set of readings in that dept. The give away is I keep getting a wave of sinusitis. So it's a bash at antibiotics for the sinuses I think, but then what? I'm usually near bullet proof and being self employed I dont do 'sick days' but might have too. And I've a rammed schedule for the nest month - meh! Get well soon people, but interested in the remedy to beat this.
  14. Isn't there a cow tied up on the common anymore? I thought there was, maybe there's an Almond tree nearby. You could milk that, no?
  15. And London isn't a chain?

We're all gonna die in the end....let's > turn the forum off. Woks are spun steel or at the top end of the market, hammered steel. My two were made to order (hand beaten) in Singapore. This is my contribution to the pointless discussion bit. Cast iron, not generally seen those.

Sydenham was called 'Sydenbeef' before, but it got cheapened by ham and the name stuck.
  20. Is time to do the "what time does the Chinese dentist open" joke ? No?
  21. Let's have a pointless discussion over what wok is best I prefer the square wok With two handles
  22. Brexit writ large there Foxter An illusion of something useful, only not fit for purpose. Enjoy the beef & Yorkshire pudding stir-fry. #RealWoksAreAvailable
  23. The two 'Local Characters' drove them away I reckon, same old cark pumped into the system eventually poisons it. I can't but help agree with Jeremy
  24. I think Louisa's getting a bit snooty about the new chicke place I thought she'd love it, being all for the people and that.
