Just f&cking hurry up tho, as I'm here in Spain trying to get a number of deals done and this Brexshit malarkey is costing me. Worse still the rest of those doing business here just don't get us, and I don't get us. It's all very well perambulating when it 'doesn't actually' personally cost you anything. However, the Tory cnuuunts who aren't actually in business dont seem to actually grasp the damage they're inflicting. #LockUpBoris
  2. It's often very tough to get off as the render sits in the cracks and gaps and render has usually been done to cover up things, bad pointing or cracks. Render it again will be cheapest way out.

Hampton is great, the kitchens alone are worth a visit. Then Kew Gardens nearby
  4. Do go on the Thames Clipper. Buy a day ticket and travel from one end to the other. When I had a houseboat on Canary Warf it was one on my favourite things and it completely rebooted my internal map of London. The whole city makes sense when you approach it via the water, specially the approach to The Tower of London. It's even great on a dank and foggy day.

  7. Let's not be precious about place, it's in need of something a bit more broad and Nando's will bring some diversity to the zoo that is East Dulwich. We're not getting sniffy are we?

  9. Yeah but it's what people want isn't it? Stuff for the masses and all that.

It'll be the new Sea Cow, where chips and wine can be consumed and children can misbehave/be free whilst parents 'relax'. Only the chicken eating demographic of Nando's will be cheek by jowl on this one. The more I think about it, the more it's appealing to me. Healthy chicken and bottomless cups of fizzy drinks, what's not to like. The one at Beckenham does a roaring trade, we go there often, sometimes more than twice a year. Chicken liver bun, most delicious.

He's the most 'strong and stable' out of the lot of them, hence May got shot of him They really are a bunch of tits, but I respect Hezzer's measured approach "Will of the people" *waves rattle & inserts teeth*
  15. Bird flu you mean ? In all fairness that shop isn't exactly thrilling or greatly contributory to the area, is it? It's a sitting target for such planning action. Some might see it as an improvement even. Where's our local mouth of the South/Iceland campaigner when you need her. #ChickenForThePeople
  16. Application 17/AP/2951 Southwark Council.
  17. 93-95 Lordship Lane A1 to A3 change of use application.
  18. Why did the chicken (painted rooster) cross the road-innit? To get to the other side and take up residency on the corner. It'll be 'something for everyone' I hear and not just the much derided middle classes. And there's one opening my way soon I hear, but much further down on Kirkdale corner, of which I'm pretty chuffed about. Let the feather spitting and the lip smacking begin. Discuss

  20. I saw my elderly neighbor go to his bin, lift the lid and place a small object in there. He obviously was aware of this and so am I, now you know also. Tomorrow I will not check what's in there and report back. He has a black and a green bin, which bin he used isn't important.
  21. My bins are empty on Tuesday, so feel free to come to Sydenham and not look in them. I'm not making Cassis this or any year either, so I'm not looking for a recipe My flan requirements are sorted, nothing more to report or discuss on that one.

Once they've got a taste for it some horses love to jump. We had horses for years when I lived in Sussex, one of them used to do a brilliant 'clear round' all on his own, then run up to the fence all proud & full of himself.
  23. The animals are part of Zippos. They're not using protected species. I'm happy to see stunt riders on horses (have they got these) if they treat them well. While we're on the animal subject, I'm slightly bemused st this vogue for dressing up dogs in silly garments. I saw a shop dedicated to this stuff onece. Bonkers!

  25. This is a bit odd, but someone isn't looking into our bins or rummaging about in them Not a peek, or a quick flash lift of the lid I'm begining to feel left out, thinking what's wrong with my bins.
