Here a view from George Soros https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2017/06/george-soros-what-a-change-of-approach-from-theresa-may-could-mean-for-brexit/?utm_campaign=Feed%3A+inside-the-world-economic-forum+%28Inside+The+World+Economic+Forum%29&utm_medium=feed&utm_source=feedburner
  2. I just bought a Coleman 5 for about ?75 at Costco It's one of the super easy to put up things *apparently* I've also bought from Decathlon too, good service generally there.
  3. I go on an ocassional pilgrimage to Walworth, to the Dolphin Fish bar. I eat Cod wth thin fresh crispy batter, with mushy peas and about a half dozen chips (I can't/won't eat too many chips). A pickled gerkin and some pepper on there makes the journey pretty well perfect. The interior isn't anything other than white and a rather fetching mosaic of Sponge Bob. BUT, they know how to prepare and cook fresh fish and chips, and for that it's a worthwhile pull in on my way back from town. END

I think they sat staring at each other, and I swear as I passed a woman mouthed "H E L P !" at me.

Oh dear, we've a new coalition. keano/uncle grim have joined forces. I wonder how keano will sell 'him' in his best purple sales language? Keano, you are the spokes person and Grim will add the odd 'yeah, I heard that....' type statement to back up stuff.

I suggest you struggle on, have a read and put you're dismissive nature to one side, as I often do when reading your posts.

I reckon Hammond fancies himself as PM OR maybe Andrea Loathsome could give it a go

  9. If you focus on the noise (I often do, it gets too much) then it helps to reboot your hearing a bit, with ear plugs. I have tinnitus and use these in busy places, to soften the blow of overwhelming sounds. It's a pretty good low-tech solution http://www.boots.com/boots-swimming-earplugs-2-pairs-with-carry-case-10114107 (I use the kids ones as they're More comfortable. I carry them wherever I go)
  10. Of wine?

I deduce this because he spends so much time on here Whereas, I'm living the La Vida Loca Hence I hardly ever ever post on here, like "HELLO, I'M SO WAY BUSY!"

  14. I genuinely think there should be car parks for children and old people only. Everyone else should park in a completely different place some distance away, and should you transgress then Lazers would be fired into your eyes and your car crushed. That includes your silly Smart Car RH
  15. I liked the SC, it made Fish & Chips fun with the kids. But things changed and it felt a bit 'done' by the time they vacated, sadly. And those stiff chips we're not great in the end. I liked that you could eat good fish and have a glass of wine. They had a good menu ideas in the begining and all the other places, nice enough as they are, feel like glorified cafe's. Someone's missing a trick with a good F&C restaurant locally.
  16. I''d probably guess there's less use of the disabled vs the child spaces. Maybe, it's deemed safer to move little one's less distance. I know when my kids were little it made shopping just about bearable, but as time flies you forget just how blinking hard work shopping once was. I'd not want to see them moved, I think Sainsbo's have got them about right.

  18. I had a lovely drink on Saturday, outside in the sun at The Half Moon place. Some Brew Dog Nanny State thingy, but I can't remember the price. On the alcohol-free tip, I found Madrid/Spain to be somewhat/ by a country mile ahead of us here in London. Most of the beer brands do a 'sin' on tap and the Mahou Sin being particularly good and Estrella Galicia is excellent Why not here on tap? http://www.theolivepress.es/spain-news/2014/12/02/alcohol-free-beer-sales-on-the-rise-in-spain/
  19. How much for an alcohol-free beer at The Dog?
  20. Can we see some of your other articles on your chosen subjects?

  23. Oh dear, all we need now is a revival of the 'Flying Ants' thread.

Does it reall matter how much a pint of 4% costs RH? 30p more, 50p more, whatever. Is that going to make or break your decision? I don't have you down as much of a drinker, so it's negligible to the amount of joy you'll extract on your visit/s. Come on, stop with the film-flam.
  25. I've had something not dissimilar happen. Pedestrian at full tilt walking tight to the kerb, who then at full march, head down (without looking) does a 45 degree quick turn onto the crossing. I'm a driver and a pedestrian, but to 'set-up' a driver with such an obviously dangerous manoeuvre is deliberately trying to challenge the mutual respect of the rules of the road, along with risking life and limb. I wonder if some people get off on the 'pedestrian right of way' power trip thing. Ergo bikes, cars, running, buggies...etc.
