  1. Handles on doors, oh no you don't have to use them. Why not shove the door thing with your grubby paws, and watch over time as the handmarks build up. And don't get me started on walls. My sons' mate walks up the stairs, trailing his hands grubby all over them. *lays in darkened room*

Really Susan of the parish, it's not that far from the centre of middle earth. Follow up yonder and straight up the dale, once past the dark lands you come upon the Forest of the Hill. There, beyond the gates of Horniman by a stretch and afore the wheeled metal transport beast station, is Geddes. Afore and over the track is the giant place that holds many treats of the mouth and belly, Sainsbo's Yes needeth to venture out moor, Squire Lady Susan. *doffs cap*
  14. I often wonder when a parent calls a child 'Tristan' whether the child 'grows into' that name. On paper it's nice enough, but in real world time, it often grates on some. I'm sure (in my cod science mind) that it has the knock on effect of slightly isolating the child, who then grows up with an air of 'yes im bloody annoying' reticence about them. And then we find ourselves viewing stories like this, and our prejudice toward a name like 'Tristan' comes out, coz we've all met the annoying ones. And so the prejudice is reinforced and we think to ourselves (rightly or wrongly) that 'Tristan' bloody well deserves what's coming to him. Yes, I do. That said, I actually know a very nice Tristan, but thinking about it, I bet he can be a right cunt at times. I blame the parents.
