  1. Who was that tedious 'street artist' w4nker who'd put his endlessly tedious stuff on here, along with shots of himself picnicking at the roadside on the TDF He had some kind of play on words with his daubing so, eventually spraying a blue nun on the Nun's Head. That 'work' alone has stopped me ever entering that place I blame wasser name, the gallery woman
  2. Going up Colledge Rd, stick hard left and one wheel goes over only (I followed a Police car doing this, it's ace) Other wise near the top go 'up' the 'down' side (on the wrong side of the road) it works a treat Otherwise, Steveo's 'flat out' thing works Or buy a Range Rover, which I'm up for soon is great (4.5 lots of joy)
  3. I shagged lots to GoF and the Mekons, and the Specals and The Stranglers Does that count, I listened/shagged to them endlessly I think The Arctic Monkeys did too (in retrospect) This is turning into 'Psued's corner' no? And Blondie with a girl who was really blonde and Elvis Costello was great to get sweaty to

    So sad

Oh dear, I hope the elephant isn't too traumatised
  5. Bad neighbors are a pain, but as you know 'quantifying' the situation in order to get a result is very hard and wearing I had this about 15 years ago, thankfully it only lasted 6 months and that was bad enough However, the only way we found peace was to bring the situation to a head, forcing the issue and then resolving it collectively. It wasn't easy, but it couldn't be ignored It has the potential to drive people to desperate measures. I used to fantasise about drilling a hole in our wall and randomly firing a gun through it or hiring a team of thugs to smash the place up Thankfully the real world stepped in Good luck
  6. Cakes (as well as Vapes) Not so much as cakes themselves, but I heard a guy ask in Rocca yesterday "is this cake homemade?" Really, in Rocca or near anywhere else, and it doesn't take much to figure out there's a cake-making-of-some-magnitude type supplier out there, knocking out frikkin cakes for restaurants And they're very good at it Shut up will you

  10. I don't believe in God, but I do read the Guardian (and the Observer) Both are in their own 'world' of bonkersness, but there's nothing close to them that I like to read And the food sections of both are 'word' for the industry The weekend FT is my anchor to a harsher reality and it's a pretty colour :))

Gawd, done to death I went to a dinner party (death to dinner parties) and they'd made some Oh how they loved them, yeah loved them. Until they leaked out and who wants to eat that much bread anyway, you stupid fkwits

But that pesky chicken > shop just won't go away. We've got 'Dulwich Reclamation' now, where the Doorz shop was. Mind you the yard out the back is massive, so plenty of room to establish themselves But Bose chicken is still there, and to be honest it's the best of them all. Nice and clean, bright and tasty chicken too (chicken fillet bun is my guilty pleasure) But the Kirkdale Village bit is somewhat silly, too much traffic

I often look at the soup options But return to the chewable options, knowing one day I'll only have the toothless non chew soup option
  16. The toy shop to beat all toy shops was in Notting Hill It was on the corner opposite the launderette The toys were great, but having a cigarette counter made it somewhat unique Ah, them was the days. Ironically it burned down once
