We are wanting to re-do our wall out front front and make space for a hedge - any recommendations?

We are looking to build a summer house, to give us a bit of extra play space. We've been looking to move from our two bed to a thre bed for a while, but haven't found anything that suits us - a three bed with a garden seems very hard to find. Do you actually use your summer house? As we've been in estate agent mode for a while - would this make our property more/ less attractive in the long run?

How much do you think t would cost to move a wall and the position of the kitchen. Reception room and kitchen are on the GF and I'd like to move the kitchen to the back of the house, possibly with an arch between the two.. We would have to remove a chimney stack so I'm not sure if this is a planning issue? No need to include price of new kitchen (am presuming this will be 8k - 10k)

I'm wanting to get this done in our bedroom, any recommendations? Am after something fairly simple.

Just wanted to recommend Nicholas for driving lessons, http://www.nicholasdrivingacademy.co.uk Knows his stuff and is really easy to talk to, I always enjoyed my lessons and felt relaxed. I wanted to learn in my own car and he was happy to teach me in it.

I think there is a free baby/ toddler music group in the park. Does anyone have details on this?

Would also highly recommend Aston. Did a few odd jobs for us, really professional and everything finished beautifully.

I think there are picnic tables there, and then maybe head off to somewhere a bit greener in the park? You can spot us as we will be with the very blonde toddler.

Sunday afternoon works for us too on the 15th. 2.30 at The Plough? Or happy if someone can think of somewhere else. We have a 1 year old so am not super familiar with the best family friendly places.

Our neighbours are extending and we need to have a part wall agreement. Any recommendations? Any advice re being the neighbours next door to building would be appreciated too.

Hello! I know a lot of kiwi families live around ED and someone mentioned that they thought there was a kiwi family group that met up? If not, would anyone be interested in starting a group? Help remember childhood favourites like Oma Rapeti?! Also, has anyone been to the Kohanga Reo? My little one is a year old, not sure if that is too young... Oh, and for some reason my husbands ED name is linked to my email, I'm Caroline!

I've been looking on ED Tots and it looks like lots of nurserys do 'Stay and Play' or Dulwich Wood Nursery does a parent and Toddler event. What are the events? Do I just turn up with my little one?

My fiance and I are looking to buy our first property in ED, and are looking to base our choice partly on proximity to/catchment of good primary schools. We would be very interested to hear experiences of really good local primaries, and any suggestions of areas to look at buying with this as a criteria.
