I could have written this post myself. It is absolutely RIDICULOUS. My parcel they lost last month was found 3 weeks later and today they found my parcel that they couldn?t find yesterday. What is going on there? It?s a joke.

Hi all, I'm wanting to build something to attach a swing to for our (very small) garden. I don't want to have a big structure taking up the garden and am ideally looking for something small and purpose built - potentially coming out of the wall, or something nice to look at, or even something easy to dismantle.. Another recommendation from me. She's come to my house twice, and is so patient when my baby is crawling all over me whilst she is trying to do my pedicure!! She's really talented and very knowledgeable and takes a great deal of care and pride in her work. She's always really quick to respond, always on time and takes everything away with her. Elliot is great. He is really lovely, and very keen to ensure you are 100% happy with any work he is doing for you. He's really reliable, punctual and also v v tidy. He was a pleasure to have in our home. He was great at talking through ideas with me, and very quick to send through a quote too. Whilst fitting some shelves in our wardrobe, he had to paint a small section he wasn't planning to, so ended up painting that whole side so that it didn't look out of place. He really takes pride in his work and won't leave until you are completely happy with what he has done. I've had him back since and again, he was great. Quick, tidy and just a genuinely lovely guy.

After seeing so many positive comments I thought I would contact Aston to help me with some shelves and hanging pictures. He was really quick to book me in and was able to fit my timescales. I think he accidentally double booked me but was so apologetic and tried his best to accommodate a time I could do. We found a suitable time and he came round, perfectly on time. He's really lovely and was very friendly, efficient and professional. I would definitely recommend him and having had trouble finding someone local I could count on I will definitely be using him again.

Another recommendation for Andy. I spoke to him on Saturday and he came round the next day as he could fit me in. He was on time and very friendly. He was helping me put up quite a few photo frames. He usually charges a set amount per frame, but due to how many of them, he felt the charge if he was to do them all at his usual price was too high for the overall job. He therefore let me know the price and asked me what I thought was reasonable. He brought everything with him and was very tidy (using the hoover as he drilled to avoid the dust in the first place - amazing!). Elena has been very responsive and wanted to check if anyone had used them before? I think their office/base is based on Horniman Drive and they seem to be easily able to offer what we are looking for. There doesn't seem to be any mention of them here (good or bad!) so thought I'd check.. Thank all.

As I seem to be doing with all of my research, I found recommendations for Gary on the EDF and would thoroughly recommend him! Was so quick to respond, was able to fit into my timings (weekends, evenings). He is really knowledgeable and taught me a lot with what he was doing. Very quick and all round nice guy. I love the furniture in Country Homes. Having read some reviews on here, I was slightly worried about their customer service, and while I think it has probably improved, it still isn't great. If you buy something that is in stock/off the shelf it all seems very straightforward. If you buy something tailor made, they don't give you clear dates as to when it would be in (I was told late March and chased the following 2 Fridays after that before it came in). I was originally told I could have it delivered 'whenever I wanted' - however I soon found out that the 2nd thing I ordered could only be delivered on Saturdays as it was too big and had to be in a van which they only have Saturdays. I also couldn't pick which Saturday. When I originally ordered it I asked about measurements and was also told the height 'would fit anywhere' - which unfortunately isn't true; the top plate didn't fit due to low ceilings so wasn't able to be put on (doesn't impact too much, but highly annoying it isn't a full finished product due to them telling me it would be fine and so me not double checking). Overall I love the products and think it is really good value, but am likely to only go back if I want to buy something already in store and ready to take home rather than something custom made.

Following recommendations I found on the EDF, I asked Garry Johnson to come and fix our toilet which wasn't flushing properly. He was very quick to respond and could do times to fit me (evenings/weekend). He was super punctual - infact rather early so ensure you are in! He was really, really knowledgable and following similar threads to other people he talked me through exactly what he was doing. He had to pop to the store to get a few bits to fix it which he did and came back. He was was great - pleasant and efficient and no messing me around. Thoroughly recommend Myla & Davis on North Cross Road. Service is really good - they are super friendly and v knowledgable. I usually dislike getting my hair cut and get stressed about being judged at the hairdressers but they were all really pleasant and very helpful - it was a stress free and lovely experience! I have long hair and my cut and blow dry was ?50 with Oscar. Will definitely be going back regularly.
