Vegan restaurant/cafe recommendations? And hello!
rosietea replied to MilzMC's topic in Request a Tradesperson
Not strictly ED but Persepolis in Peckham is great, they can swap out yoghurt or cheese for vegan versions on any of the dishes if you ask, and they sell it to take away too. Good vegan selection at Maloko in Camberwell. For a takeaway, big recommendations for Salas Falafel on Rye lane, it looks like a slightly grotty food van but is very very good. -
Hello! Looking for recommendations for a largish van for a house move (only from ED to Nunhead) on Saturday 7th Oct. Have had great experiences with van/man recommendations here in the past, but need a slightly bigger van this time. Any tips greatly appreciated!

Thank you all!

I'm looking for a carpet cleaner to come and clean one medium sized bedroom, but must be able to come either 29th or 30th December. Any recommendations or quotes much appreciated! Thanks

Looking for help with a house move between Christmas and New Year - have found the HIGHLY recommended Joseph on this forum but unfortunately he's unavailable on those dates! Gutted. Anyone got any other leads? Thanks!!

Beware phone stolen tonight on Lordship Lane
rosietea replied to Laroon's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
This happened to me on Rye Lane in Peckham a couple of months ago, the police said they have countless reports of the same happening in this area at the moment. -
I think the food at the Camberwell Arms is overrated and overpriced.. didn't rate their "roast" at all. Crooked Well is consistently good and big thumbs up for Pedler. I also have to give a shout out for the roast at The Sun in Camberwell - really good both times I've been. Proper potatoes, proper gravy!

Looking for a recommendation for a good cleaner who will be able to come once a week to my place in Camberwell. Any suggestions much appreciated! Thanks!

I need a man and van to help me move house either this Saturday or Monday. I'm only moving from Peckham Rye to Camberwell, and have already moved the majority of the little bits and bobs so just need to move the furniture, which will be dismantled where possible. Any recommendations appreciated, or PM me if you can help! Thanks, Rosie

Matt from http://www.cityglassbrighton.co.uk/ is now based in Peckham, and is very good!

I third the recommendation for Falafel, it's one of the best and they do great and very cheap fresh juice.

I had to buy some flowers for a job from there, it is definitely cheaper than from a florist and the range is absolutely incredible. It's such an inspiring place to visit, whether you need any flowers or not! It's just quite a shock to the system getting up at that time of day... worth it though.
