I think that's massively considerate of him - I wish everyone would do this!

I' m so fed up with people leaving loo paper in the park. Small children run all over the place, and we constantly see other people's disgusting loo paper, hundreds of pieces every time.

Surely if someone needs to poo in the park, they ball it up, or bag it up, and take the loo paper home? If they find that disgusting, then why should anyone else find it less disgusting just dropped casually inside a children's den?

Feeling so annoyed that people think this is ok to do just because the loos are closed.

I get that people have to go in the park. But surely they do not have to leave loo paper for us to prise out of our toddler's curious hands.

Also watched a mallard (male) attempt to drown a cootling. The coot parents were hooting in a panic as the mallard dragged the cootling underwater and kept it there. It was horrible to see. Clearly a copy/mallard war going on.

4 goslings on my last visit and a whole new clutch of tiny coots (cootlings?).

Also - saw a turtle for the first time in the other pond near the bamboo house/wooden shelter thing. First time ever.

Huge recommendation for Paul Latham. He can do amazing things with wood. Has made us a unique playhouse/garden shed, all with wood and windows from us own yard. Also beautiful cupboard doors, fitted cupboard , refitting an original door. He's a top quality craftsman. Has his own supply of old wood. 07956737226

Just wanted to do a post about the amazing hut that Paul Latham designed and made for us. We couldn't be more delighted. This one is for two little people but he could do any kind of shed. He's a great carpenter.

Just had the best service ever at Balfe's bike shop on East Dulwich Road.

Balfe's isn't just the best bike shop I've ever been to, it's pretty much the best service I've had in any shop. They are so knowledgeable, really generous with their time, and so keen to help wherever they can. Some things they do while you wait, and everything is done to a really high standard. And on top of that - fantastic value. I'm not normally one to review places but Balfe's is so great it got me reviewing!
