I used VP Removals this week to move from my three bedroom first floor flat in East Dulwich and they were absolutely fantastic. They cleared the flat - dismantling all big items, loaded the van and reassembled all items for me in our new home. They were SO careful with leaving / going into the properties and so speedy! I would without doubt recommend VP removals - Thank you Vitek and Peter!

We sold our home through KFH and I was so impressed with the level of service from valuation to completion that I wanted to spread the word! Having had a nightmare of an experience earlier in the year when we went on the market with another leading Estate Agent in the area, who provided no feedback after viewings and were in general, totally disorganised and very infuriating - we took the property off the market altogether. Fast forward a couple of months and I asked Paul at KFH to come and value for us - what a difference!! He was so much more realistic, he came with comparables - we didn't see these with the other agent. He told us that he had people in mind and reluctantly we let him arrange viewings, prior to the property being on the market - I was very skeptical about this given previous experience where we had been over promised... only to be proved wrong. He had two offers on the table within a week; we sold it without it even being put onto the market. Stephen then took over as our main point of contact and he was very helpful and excellent at keeping us in the loop on things right up until the end when we completed. There are so many agents in the area but I can honestly say that the whole experience of selling through KFH was totally pain free and they were calm and professional throughout. I would highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again myself.

We used Roberts & Denny's to move us from one top floor flat to another in ED - the guys came and packed on Tuesday, moved us on Wednesday and the whole process was so easy and painless. They provided all the boxes, paper, bubble wrap and brown tape and packed up our whole flat for us. They dismantled and built our bed again and were so helpful and attentive with our belongings, even unpacking our clothes and hanging them in the wardrobes of our new flat. Would definitely recommend Roberts & Denny's - if you're moving and hate packing like me, the service they provide is totally amazing!!

We held my son's first birthday party here on Saturday and it was absolutely fantastic. Shona was incredibly helpful and everything went so smoothly - the food was delicious and we were able to bring our own alcohol in as well as having tea and coffee on tap / soft drinks from the fridge. I would highly recommend this to anyone planning a children's party!

I did try the Herne Tavern as it is very close to where I live but found the staff very rude and totally disorganised, not returning calls etc - it was painful! Have now booked The Dish and The Spoon Cafe in Nunhead - Shona has been fantastic!!

Looking at the area around Balgowan Primary School for our move - but totally new to Beckenham. I currently live in ED and have done for 10 years... this thread has been very encouraging!
