  1. Poundstretcher had a half price sale then disappeared for good a few months back. The cashier told me Lidl were planning on using it as a warehouse. Shame, they were good for odds and sods, or for when Lidl didn't have the new frying pan you needed in the middle aisle. Poundstretchers opened up a new store on Walworth Road (332/334) a little bit of a trek, but it's the same staff.
  2. Well, I was in there 2 hours ago, so it's open.
  3. There's one in Sainsbury's Dog Kennel Hill, just by the exit, opposite the photo booth.
  4. The Phlebotomy Dept is open Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 3.45pm, and closed on bank (public) holidays and is within the Tessa Jowell Centre and their phone number for the phlebotomy reception is(0)20 8194 7490, if needed.
  5. They've started filling in yellow lines in a lot of those spaces, it's just been a lot of line painting which has to be done thanks to the large areas going over to new zones. So those areas will disappear.

  7. https://www.southwark.gov.uk/parking/parking-permits/on-street-permits/resident-parking-permits That gives you prices for the permits, it mentions different permits for those on estates, so probably has different rules.
  8. Yeah they're offering it on their website too, for daily, hourly, monthly at Sainsbury's. https://horizonspaces.co.uk/locations/show/4294937936
  9. I have to admit, the service has improved at the surgery. I've been able to usually book appointments online for between 1-2 weeks (i've even been very lucky to get an on the day appointment before). I've also found booking an on the day for triage (they allow you to book a call back from 7.40am on that morning) when I've needed quicker attention, and have given me an appointment, where it was really needed. The website seems to be a little out of date, Dr Jennifer Douglas, I think has gone on maternity leave. They've now got 2 other female doctors working there, Dr Kate Jackson & Dr Dr Farhana Lalani, in addition to Dr Sathiya Prabhakaran, and of course Dr. Christopher Ward being the only male.

  11. As far as I know - it's a lady with a trolley who's been feeding the cats/foxes for a long time. I've often seen her on Bellenden Road, Coplestone Road and Hayes Grove etc. and she's been placing the food or feeding the foxes. The cats and the foxes seem to know her well.
  12. "We're sorry, but this store is currently being refurbished. We expect to be open again soon. " https://www.dominos.co.uk/london-east-dulwich So it's only going through the process of refurbishment.
  13. Hi James, If possible can you please look into the road/parking problems in the East Dulwich Station locality. Rather then what's already wrote - you can have a look at : http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?5,1414112 Thanks for your help.
